Chapter 1: Lover Boy

After I finish singing a song for the club, I walk and go backstage, people congratulate me and I thank them. 

I walk out of the backstage entrance and I see some guys looking at me, kind of checking me out. I dismiss it because a lot of people think I'm beautiful so I don't mind if they thought anything of me.

 I carry on but as I get near them one of the two boys approaches me, "You were amazing up there." I blush, "Thank you." He responds through a confident smile, "No problem, you know you're actually really beautiful." I blush, another guy stands behind him, rolling his eyes. To mess with him I say, "What about lover boy back there?" 

He looks at me with his deep blue eyes and says in a low, chill tone, kind of smirking, "What about me?" you look at him and say, "Do you think I'm beautiful?" with a polite smile he said, "Yes, but does that count inside and out?" 

Something about him words. Many guys have thought I was hot, beautiful, or gorgeous. I say, "What's your name lover boy?" he smirks and says, "It's Liam, but you can call me anything you want baby girl" I smile, we both look into each others eyes, totally disregarding the other guy rolling his eyes right next to me, he clears his throat, "My name is Noah"

 I look away from Liam's eyes and divert my attention to so called Noah, and say "Hi Noah, my name is Allison." He looks at me with a smile, picks up my hand and then kisses it. Liam looks highly annoyed. Looks like Noah is beating him in his own game. 

I realized that they are the bosses of this club, the twin brothers that everyone talks about, known as the Carter Brothers. What I've heard about the Carter Brother's is, Noah is the charmer, life of the party, super sweet, but Liam on the other hand, he's a charmer but an asshole, he fucks almost every girl he comes in contact with.

They are both good business men, but Liam is just a bad boy. My best friend, Sammy, gave me this information, she is the waiter at this club. Just as I am thinking about this Noah clears his throat waiting for a response, so I decided to make Liam a little angry. As I say, "You are sweet Noah, thank you for watching me sing." Liam interrupts and says, "I watched as well and-" He doesn't finish, his brother interrupts. Noah says, "You are welcome beautiful" 

Noah looks in my eyes and I looked into his, then break the silence and say, "Hey Noah, can I have your phone number?" I look over and give Liam a wink and he rolls his eyes. I hand Noah my phone for him to put in his number, after he puts in his number, I smile at him and go to leave, I look at Liam, I go right next to him, get close to his ear and I whisper and say, "Bye lover boy" in a sweet, soft tone. I go over to Sammy who is now on break, "Sammy, guess who I just met." She responds, "Who?" I pause and wait a second for the suspense. 

I then say, "The Carter Brothers." She immediately opens her mouth and almost shouts, "You met the Car-" before she can finish her sentence I put my hand over her mouth and say, "Shush it Sam." I remove my hand slowly, just incase she says something loud again. She doesn't, she only whispers, "YOU MET THE CARTER BROTHERS?!?!" I looked at her confused, "Is that a problem?" 

She responds in another whisper, "Well I don't think it is Noah but there is a rumor going around that Liam has a crazy jealous girlfriend, and every time he tries to talk to a girl, she gets really crazy, some people think she has killed someone." I couldn't help but laugh a little, she gets a little pissed off. 

"Why the hell is that funny, if you talk to Liam you're dead." I respond calmly, "Sammy, they are only rumors, that may or may not be true." Sammy sighs, "Well don't do anything stupid ...please." I freeze for a second and it's like she can sense it, she says, "What did you do ...?" I respond as if I am clueless, "What are you talking about?" She screams again, "Allison!!", "Okay so I got Noah's phone number and I kind of flirted with Liam .." 

She flips, "Are you serious?!" I try and calm her down as I say, "Chill sam, I don't think his 'girlfriend' is here, look, I'll go ask him." She flips out, "No! What-" she can't finish before I walk over to the booth where Liam and Noah are, there is a waitress in the way, flirting with Liam, I try to get her attention, "Hey excuse me miss, I need to talk to him for a second." She responds in a mean tone, "I'm talking to him, he doesn't want to talk to you whore." 

I was really not prepared for that, as she turns back around, I politely tap her shoulder, when she turns around I smile and say, "Get the fuck out of my way" she gets furious, "Who the fuck are you?!" In a deep tone I say, "You don't want to stick around to find out ....trust me." I stare at her my facial expression cold and dark, Liam starts laughing, "Just leave Alice, I'll come talk to you later." He winks at her, she eases, "Fine, I'll see you later baby." She leaves, I sit across from Liam and clear my throat, "Girlfriend?" 

He looked surprised by what I said for some reason, Noah coughs, "I'll go to the bar" Noah excuses himself. I resume, "Liam" he smiles, "Yes baby girl?" I get annoyed for a second and then resume my conversation, "Anyway, so there is a rumor going around that you have a crazy jealous girlfriend, and every time you try to talk to a girl she gets really crazy ...is that true?" He responds with a light smile, "Do you believe that baby girl?" 

I look at him and roll my eyes, "I'll believe it when I see it." He responds with a quizzical type of tone, "So if I did have a crazy jealous girlfriend and I am talking to you, why would you risk it?" I freeze up, I don't know how to answer that, he gets closer, "Do you like me love?" He got even closer, and then whispered in my ear, "I'm flattered." At a loss for words, my vocabulary begins to stumble "What no!!" He backs away a little, and he smirks at me, "Whatever you want to tell yourself sweetheart."
