Mom and dad are going to pick up Emeka from the orphanage today. Then they will come back in two weeks. Me and Beth havent been doing a lot lately, just chilling at our sisters house.
Bethany: Winter, our parents are about to pick Emeka up. I am so nervous!
******Emekas POV
The person who is holding me, smiles. I dont know who she is, but I kinda go along with it. I am totally confused.
Mimi: Emeka, these people are here to take you home.
Me: Hmm?

Two weeks later... Winters POV
I scream as mom and dad come through the door, squeezing them tight. Behind them stands a little boy, so cute, I have to hug him.
Me: Hey there you! My name is Winter, you must be Emeka.
Mom: Right now he only trusts me and your father, but over time I know he will love you. Bethany too.
Bethany comes into the room, and the little boy runs up to hug her. Me and mom look at them in awe. Of course Emeka loves Bethany, who doesnt?

Its been a few weeks, and me and Emeka are pretty close. I play with him, and I take him out a lot. He has his birthday tomorrow, so we are going to celebrate today. I am taking Emeka to a nearby toyshop. Winifred is going too, Emeka loves her.
Me: Mom, I am taking Emeka to the toyshop! Be back at around 2;00!\
Mom: Okay, make sure you get him lunch!

Emeka finshes his hamburger I got for him aat Burger King, and we walk into the Toy Barn.
Me: You can get whatever you want, how about this lion stuffed animal? Or maybe a lego packet.
Emeka: I want to get that pink puppy! I want the pink puppy!
Winifred: Are you sure? We could get you a bear instead.
Emeka ends up getting the pink puppy, and then we go home.
