"Daddy I'm hungry..." Noelle turned over to look at the sleeping guy next to her. He never said he had kids. She watched as the little girl blew on her dad's face. She looked under the covers. Phew I'm dressed. She stood up.
"Come on. I'll make you something to eat." She walked towards the bedroom door. She smiled at the little girl and gestured to follow. The little girl looked at Noelle incredulously and followed. She got to the kitchen and looked through the refrigerator. "Hmm... Your dad must need to go to the grocery." She commented. The refrigerator was filled with beer, some cheese, condiments. Note to self: Call child welfare services.
"Daddy doesn't take care of that often. Not since Mommy left." Noelle closed her eyes. She knew that story well.
"Eggs! Perfect. I make a mean omelette. If we're making breakfast together... Maybe we should know each other's names." She pulled eggs, ketchup, cheese and random vegetables out the bin She placed them on the table and bent over face level to the girl. "I'm Noelle. And you are?" She extended her hand.
"I'm Ladasha! " The little girl grinned wide and shook her hand. The little girl's cold hands enveloped Noelle's.
Noelle pulled her hand back and went to work. She smiled at Ladasha as she cooked. A kiss was placed on her neck."You gorgeous woman! Are you making us breakfast?" Her neck showered with kisses.
"Mhmmm... But you should stop. Ladasha is watching." Hands turned her around.
"How do you know that name??" Her lover yelled. Noelle looked at him. Then at Ladasha.
"She told me her name! She said she was hungry. You're the one that wouldn't wake up." She laughed.
"Not fucking funny. Get out. Now!" Mike, or whatever his name is, seethed.
"Gladly." She grabbed her things and left. "Weirdo"
