Chapter 1: Start of the day, and my future?

Natsuki's POV

Aghhhh eeww I can feel Flare licking my face to wake me up, I open one of my eyes to see.. He did, He licked my cheek, to wake me up. Oh and to introduce Flare is my Flareon. And my other little partner is Flame, the Litten

"Alright I'm up, stop it you weirdo" I get up and out of my bed, him sticking his tongue out at me

I go over to my closet get my uniform and bag out put it on my desk and go in my bath room, get ready, y'know the boring stuff

After getting dressed and ready for school I put Flame in his Poké ball and put it in my pocket

Get my bag and exit my room slowly going down the stairs with Flare behind me, as we proceed to leave our mess of a house

Since its still quite early not many other people are out and about, and other Pokémon are just wondering around not having a partner and being wild and free

Anyways, me and Flare walk to our-- well my school, students like me just have our partners come with us and not make them enter their Poké ball, our school's fine with it though they don't mind that much

The walk to school was mostly silent and calm taking our time to enjoy the scenery, then I hear someone call me

"Natsuki! Hey! Wait up!" I turn around and see my best friend, Sayori wave her hand up in the air to catch my attention as she runs to me with Droplet behind her trying her best to keep up, me and Flare stand there and watch her as she pants and catches her breath

"Hey Sayori, your early today" we all walk together, me, Sayori, Flame and Sayori's eevee Droplet

"Heheh yeah I know, Droplet woke up by a nightmare so I had to comfort her" She holds Droplet in her arms and pets her

"Awwe, don't worry about it Droplet, me and Flare will protect ya" Flare jumps up to my bag and gets on my shoulder and stands protectively grinning to himself

"Eevui!" Droplet wags her tail back and forth happy that we'll protect her from harm, her and Sayori

"Oh that reminds me, Nat have you joined any club yet?" Sayori flashes me a smile

"Nope, me and Flare usually just train Flame after school, and also read some manga afterwards" Flare gets off of my shoulder, and Sayori settles Droplet down

"Well... Can you pleaseeee join our club? Its almost the festival and we need a way to attract more members.. And your cupcakes might seal the deal" Sayori gives me the puppy eyes as she flops her ears down and pouts

"Alright alright, I'll join--" I get cut off by Sayori raising her hands in the air

"Yay!"

"Well what club do you even want me to join in on?" She happily wags her tail back and forth

"Its the literature club, Monika's club president, and I'm vise president" She smiles widely

"Monika huh? Isn't that your crush--" Sayori puts her hand on my mouth and shushes me as we enter school grounds

I see Monika talking to some other girl so I bite Sayori's hand and dash off to Monika and the other girl, Flame following behind

"Ow!"

I stop behind Monika and look at Sayori as she runs up to us

"Meanie.."

"Huh? Oh hey Sayori!" Monika turns around

"Hey Monika" I can see Sayori's tail wag back and forth slowly as one of her ears slightly flop down

"Oh is this your friend?" Monika looks over at me
