Imagine it's a cold and rainy day. The clouds have been crying for days now, but the only one being affected is you. Nobody bats an eye at the water, no one even notices. It only affects you. So, you stay in bed all day, no energy to leave, the pitter-patter of rain on the roof not even noticeable to you, the bass drum in your chest pounding in your ears, making your head pulse with the beat, your body seeming to be a whole symphony with the director nowhere in sight. The beat continues, the metronome called 'breathing' speeding up, the drumline in fortissimo and emotions being the strings playing triple pianissimo, even little ballerinas involved, on their toes and twirling in all different directions. You don't understand what's happening and no one else does either, and you've only been awake for 10 minutes. Your rooms a mess, a singer now joins the orchestra, singing about how you should clean and be happy while the background singers accompany saying that the rain is too much and the symphony is too much, the bed is better and no one will notice if you're not even there.

Still, you sit up. You swing your legs over the edge of your mattress and step on some papers and clothes. The rain gets heavier and the full orchestra get louder, but now, as you get ready for your day, the drums gets lighter. You run your brush through your knotted hair and the metronome finally returns to normal and consistent speed. Once all ready, the symphony plays a sweet tune, the violins and cellos smooth and the flutes and clarinets following. The ballerinas are still all over the place, they always will be, but now they're at least not so bad. You tell yourself, "The symphony will be fine. Everything will be ok."

This may sound like blubber to others, but others can relate to this. But everyone needs to know, everything's ok, and you're doing amazing.
