Summer

I sat and bobbed my head to Xavier's song. He had wrote, recorded, and produced on his own and wanted me to review it and give my opinion on it.

"I like this Zay." I grinned.

"Really?" His smile matched mines.

"Yeah this shit hard." I took the headphones out and placed them down on my bed.

"Bet. Then I'ma drop it then." He nodded his head.

"What about the group that you Dillyn and Will were making?"

"I'ma still have a group with them but I'ma have my own thing going on, on the side."

"That's a good idea. But what made you go with Lucas instead of your first name?"

"Why do you go with Summer instead of your first name?" He shot back at me.

I laughed. "Touché Coly." I smirked.

"You think I can get far though on this music shit?" He looked me in my eyes.

"Yeah I really do babe, as long as you stay true to yourself and to your music and never let the industry change you."

"You right and I'ma always have you by my side to make sure that I never do change up." He pulled me to him.

I giggled and kissed him. "Exactly." I smiled.

"I love you Skye." His face turned serious.

"I love you Xavier." I looked down at him.

"So look." I sat up off him. "So you know I've been working with Fendi for the past couple months?"

"Right."

"And they said I can create two pieces and if they were approved they could be featured in an upcoming fashion show."

"Summer I'm not modeling nothing else for you." He said sternly.

"Nooo Zay." I laughed. "I made the pieces and they got approved and they get to be in the fashion show." I squealed.

"Congratulations Mamas." He hugged me.

"Thank you. I get to attend the fashion show, along with two other people and I want you to come with me."

"Yeah, of course I'll go with you."

"Great it's Friday night and me you and Sy will leave at six."

"Cool."

"Summer and Sy'aire!" My Dad shouted from downstairs.

"Yeah?" I yelled back.

He didn't say anything.

"Yes?"

Silence.

I huffed and went down to the living room to see what he wanted.

"You heard me upstairs saying 'yes'?" I said as I walked up to him and sat on the couch opposite to him.

"Yeah I did." I shook my head.

"Wassup?"

"Wait for your sister to come down here."

We sat and waited for about two more minutes before Sy finally came down the steps.

"Yeah Dad?"

"Thanks for finally joining us." He said sarcastically.

"Sure no problem." She plopped down in my lap and I wrapped my arms around her waist.
