Proverbs 26:27 Whoever diggeth a pit shall fall therein; and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.
This is one of my favourite wisdom because it is fair and just. It is true that what goes around must come back around. Some of the situation we are going through right now are the results of what we/ our parents once wish, tell or do to others. Matthew 7:12 says" do to others what you would have them do to you". Basically whatever we do unto others, whether we like it or not it will be done back unto us.
Back to our main heading, most of us when we hear the word "pit" we think of the worse things that can ever happen to us, well it might be true, but in this case i choose to call it Past Is Turning (P.I.T). Meaning that pit is a situation( good or bad) that we dig for others which in the future will turn back unto us.
So Brethren please lets stop expecting to fall in a pit that we didn't dug. Some of us we need to be loved, cared and accepted but we are not getting any because our hearts are full are full of hate, we are not even concerned about people who are close to us and we reject those in need. You who are in want, go and start digging a pit of giving and see if your title will remain the same. I heard none of your daughters is married, stop cursing other peoples daughters and see if yours will remain unmarried. There is no joy in your family/ relationship/ marriage, stop causing troubles in other peoples affairs/ matters and see the fruit of your actions. You don't have friends, i hope you know what to do by now. And why don't you start wishing and praying for your ex for good things in their lives and see if your current relationship will remain sinking.
Take note of this, a pit is something we dig for days, weeks, months or years. And it often happen that when we dig we come across different rocks, to a fool man a rock means the end, but a wise man will rather break the rock or dig around it, he won't stop, because he know beneath his rock lies his gold. You might not see the fruit of your actions now and the going may be taugh, but don't let anything/ anyone stop you from your righteous ways. And i assure you, when you are done digging you pit, your world won't be the same as before. Let me tell you this there's nothing good like falling in a pit of love, pit of peace, pit of joy, pit of wealth, pit of blessings.
Esther 7:10 is one of the good example because it tells us about Haman who fell( hanged) in a pit(galows) that he dug(prepared) for Mordecai.
May GOD grant you wisdom, knowledge, strength and understanding as you dig pits or roll stones of your life,so that you may find pleasure in your fruits/ wages of your work. I love you, but Jesus loves you more. Amen
