I said my goodbyes to my friends as we get off at the bus stop. I walked home, again by taking the long way because the shortcut is being reconstructed. I reached my front door, opened it with my house key and there was Mom and Dad on the couch watching some TV. "Hi, Honey. Did you have fun with your friends?" Mom asked me. I quietly nodded. Mom felt concerned. "What's wrong, Nora?" She asked. "My friends and I visited our teacher in the hospital. The nurse there told me she has Tuberculosis and I couldn't bear looking at her in such a condition." My mom walked over and hugged me. "Aww.... I'm sorry, honey. I'm sure she will recover and return to school. Why don't you lie down and rest? I'll call you when dinner's ready." She's right. Maybe I should lay down and calm my nerves. I walk upstairs to my room but I stopped to ask her. "Wait, mom. What happened with Nicky?" Mom called from downstairs. "I disciplined him for his behavior by sending him to his room until dinner." "Thanks for telling me." I turned and walked up the hall to my room and went inside. There I laid in bed, ignoring Nicky's whining and thinking about Mrs. Bruins in the hospital, what school would be like while she wasn't there, I already felt my eyes water until I hear two pings coming from my phone. I looked at the screen to see two messages sent to me. One being the song sent from Frida and the other from Andrea showing the video of me dancing with a message that reads "Hey, girl. Here's that dance video in case you wanna work on the choreography some more." I really needed that. I replied with a "Thank you" to both of them. I watch what I have so far in our choreography and I thought of what moves I should add. I put on my earbuds and I pressed play. Once the music started, my stress just melted away... I did some of the same dance moves from earlier and I tried thinking of some new moves, a lot of them did not work for our dance until I made the perfect improvision. I did a couple of hip hop moves mixed with a little ballet and I did a quick jump twirl. Perfect. I then recorded a video of myself doing the exact same moves. And sent it to Andrea and Frida. I knew they would like it. And eventually, Mom called me downstairs for dinner. Sunday rolled around like any other day. Waking up, racing Nicky to the bathroom to see who takes a shower first, getting dressed, brushing my teeth and hair, going downstairs to eat breakfast and listen to Nicky's imaginary stories. The boy chatters away while I eat my blueberry pancakes. Later today, I wanted to go out for a bit, so I put on my jacket, I told Mom and Dad I was going out and left. Maybe a trip to the Mall would be good. I need some new black leggings and a new pair of sneakers. I walked to the bus stop and waited six minutes for the bus to come. It was a long bus ride to the Mall. There I entered the nearest shoe store, looking around until I found these orchid high top sneakers that were just my size. Perfect. And it was affordable. I paid for my new sneakers at the checkout counter and now I head to buy some leggings at 'Always 18.' The clothes and accessories there are much more affordable while the prices at other clothing stores are really high. In there, I walked around trying to find where the leggings are. I did find a comfortable pair of black leggings, but when I turned to the checkout lane, there were three stylish button up vests in various colors. I thought it would be a great part of an outfit to wear when performing. I picked out a medium sized orchid vest for myself, a extra large red vest for Andrea and a small yellow vest for Frida. They didn't cost too much and I still had left over money for lunch. After paying, I walked to the nearest elevator to go upstairs to where the food court is. I got in line, but suddenly I hear two familiar voices. I looked around and sitting at one of the tables in front of 'Michelangelo's Pizza', there sat the most popular and meanest girl and the most popular and brandish boy. Jessica Evergreen and Brody West, on a date, sharing pizza and mozzarella sticks, and wildly flirting! Ugh. Of all places, I HAD to find them here in this mall. Especially snobby Jessica. It made me uncomfortable seeing Brody flexing his muscles while Jessica lays her head on his chest while giggling and getting way too flirty with him. They're in public! People can see them! And they've been flirting since October. At least they don't notice me and the line I'm waiting in is getting shorter. Eventually, it was my turn to order a chicken sandwich with an orange soda and leave. I did not want to hear their dumb voices again. Too bad for me because I have school tomorrow... I left the Mall eating my sandwich. ...And the fry cook who made it forgot to leave out the  tomato! Well I don't feel like going back, so I took the slice of tomato and tossed it out.
