'What if....'My brother began.I knew this would be one of his ridiculous stories about a magical world or what not.Last time,he told me a story of a kangaroo that couldn't jump and of a mouse that was as big as an elephant! 'Dogs meowed instead of barking?'I rolled my eyes. 'That wouldn't happen!Don't be delirious Thomas....'I stormed off towards my room,still annoyed with Thomas' idiocy.He ran up to me. 'What if cats could bark?'He panted. 'Ugghhh!How many times do I need to tell you:that can't happen!?'I was fed up!He needed to stop! 'Well it's possible!Look it up on Youtube!'I sighed once again and left him in my room.I was sick of it! "I'm a bit peckish..."I thought. "Maybe a little snack will make me less....angry."Casually walking down the stairs,I noticed a sound coming from the sitting room. "It's just Thomas."I knew it was.The door had dents in it.The noises were really getting loud.I had to tell him to stop shouting with his friends,or whoever was in there with him.I grasped the doorknob and twisted.I cleared my throat,ready to scream at my pesky brother.To my surprise it wasn't my brother or his friends,it was a dog,a cat,a kangaroo and a massive mouse!I screamed at the top of my lungs.My brother came rushing downstairs holding a piece of LEGO.As soon as he saw the mouse he ran for his life.Oops,I forgot.My brother is deathly afraid of mice and NOT the computer kind.I wanted to run,but my feet were stuck on the ground as if-QUICKSAND! 'Help me!'I shrieked.I tried running once more,but now my shins were stuck.I called Thomas back,flailing my arms any which way. 'THOMAS!HELP!I'M GONNA DIE!THEY'LL KILL ME!'The mouse looked towards me.He had something in his mouth.It looked like the controller for our PS4.Thomas must have noticed it too because he soon shouted in an angry voice 'Hey-that was expensive!'Really Thomas,really?At a time like this?I soon realized my whole stomach was submerged under the quicksand.Thomas gave me his arm,foolishly.I was really stuck and me being stronger than him I managed to haul him inside this horrid mess. 'Amelia!Why did you-what on earth-really?'He had so many questions that deserved an answer but I didn't think I could provide one.My brothers eyes widened with disbelief.He tried to back away as the kangaroo walked over.Usually,I would think a kangaroo would hop around but this one-wait!That was it!I had it 'Thomas,you know the way you say what if and you think up these stupid stories?'I didn't let him answer.In the background I heard a meow,only to find out it was a dog.Ugghhh! 'Say something like....what if Amelia and I couldn't get stuck in quicksand!'And you know what he did?He said just that,and as soon as he did our bodies was lifted out of the sand,just like that.I was so happy.Then he looked at me and said 'What if all the animals I made up disappeared!'As soon at the last word came from his mouth,they all vanished!Just like that!
A week later Thomas and I were relaxing,looking at my phone.He looked at me and said 'What if....' NOT THIS AGAIN!!!!
