Angel

A knock rang from Angel's door, pulling him from his dreams. Another knock rang out and he snapped, "Yeah yeah, give me a fucking minute." He got out of bed stretching all six of his arms out, before he grabbed his clothes and put them on. He opened the drawer he put the cash in yesterday and put it in his right vest pocket.

Finally he got to the door and opened it, just to see a somewhat sorrowful Vaggie standing there, "What do you want?"

"I came to apologize," she said genuinely.

"For what? Being a bitch," he says pissed off he was woken up so early.

Vaggie got a little ill-tempered, "I'm sorry! Okay? Get over yourself."

"Now look who's being aggressive," he retorted, "I'm going back to bed."

He went to close the door but she stopped him, "Angel. I need your help."

"I don't ha-"

"Please Angel," she begged.

"Why should I?"

She looked away, "Because it would help the hotel."

He sighed, "Fine, what do you need help with?"

"It's Charlie," she says unusually timid.

"What about her?" She was silent, no answer came from her. Angel just looked at her, "You're gonna answer me?"

"I don't know what's wrong," her voice cracked as she yelled.

"Woah, geez," he puts his hands up defensively, "chill there."

Vaggie grimaces but doesn't retort. She sighs before speaking, "Look, Charlie has been a nervous wreck since the beginning of this project, and now she's just not all there."

Angel sighs and hands Vaggie the wallet, "Here's the money. I want the wallet back."

Vaggie grabs it cautiously, "Thank you."

Charlie was sat down in the hall when Angel Dust passed by, "Hey there," he smiled and waved. The smile he received from her wasn't genuine but he let it slip by as he sat by her, "So, what's been happening?"

"We have a new tenant," she says with a faint whimper in her voice.

"Oh," he looked a little surprised, "Anything else has been going on?"

She sighed, "Well, Vaggie kinda found a hell pig," she inhaled sharply, "and we don't know what to do with it. We don't have the money and I don't want to let it out, just to have it die in a few hours."

"I'll keep it," Angel stated plainly, "I can pay for it myself."

Charlie's astonished look amused him, "If you promise not to pay for it with," she shivered, "the usual way you work."

Suddenly he realized why it was so stressful for Charlie; she didn't just make money the same way as others. Unfortunately, for him, his heart felt for the hell pig he never saw, and with a deep inhale he finally replied, "I still want it."
