Camp Half Blood, Big House -
Poseidon took a long swig of his Diet Coke, then slammed it back down on the table. He grudgingly resumed his game of pinochle with the equally grumpy camp director/centaur, Chiron. Poseidon was dressed in his usual attire, a stained and wrinkled jaguar print shirt. His hair was messy and greasy, he had dark circles under his eyes, and he had a severe case of 5 o'clock shadow.
As Poseidon played, he wondered what his son Peter was doing. Or was his name Perry? Pedro perhaps? Whatever. He wasn't his responsibility so why should he bother knowing his son's name?
"I hate it here," Poseidon grumbled.
"Tell me about it," Chiron agreed.
"I wasn't asking for your opinion, Professor Pony!" Poseidon snapped.
"Whatever you say, Wine Dude," Chiron mumbled.
"What'd you just say, you old man?!" Poseidon demanded.
"I think you heard me!" Chiron said boldly. He took a swig of beer, just to rub it in Poseidon's face since he couldn't have alcohol.
"My Little Pony," Poseidon snapped.
Chiron gasped genuinely and dramatically. "You just hurt my feelings!" Chiron whined. Poseidon smiled smugly.
Dionysus' Underwater Palace -
""Under the sea, darling it's better, down where it's wetter, take it from me!'" Dionysus sung with a Jamaican as he waited for his companion dolphin friend, Delphin. Life sure was great here under the sea. His powerful son, Pollux, was visiting for the day which Dionysus just couldn't wait for.
Dionysus held his trident in his hand and was tapping it to the beat of his music. "Man, How com my servant crabs don't have Jamaican accents?" Poseidon wondered allowed. "I will have to do something about that," Poseidon decided.
Ariadne, Dionysus's beautiful wife, swam over to him. Ariadne was beautiful, but her face was tight and streaks of gray were in her hair, despite the fact that she was immortal.
"Dionysus," Ariadne greeted.
"Hello!" Dionysus beamed. "Beautiful day, eh?"
