"Ahh!" I screamed waking up from a nightmare just as my alarm clock went off for school. "What's wrong!" My mom yelled from downstairs "nothing just a bad dream" I say walking downstairs to my mom. "why is it so quite?" I ask but she doesn't answer "let me guess dad has to stay another few weeks in California at his works board meeting?" I ask sadly "no Laura your father well I just got off the phone with the airport and well your fathers plain crashed and he um well died" my mom said while crying well no more like sobbing into the palm of her hand. My eyes went watery but I didn't cry.
It was a half an hour before school so I quickly took a shower and got dressed then I grabbed my backpack and ran out the door.
On my way towards the school because I walk I got this weird twisted feeling I'm my gut that was saying today will be full of evil, so I started to walk faster. Bye the time I got to school I was five minutes early for my first class so I got my science book and studied for my test which happens to be today. When the first bell rings I rush to science class and sit down with a number two pencil between my fingers. "Hi Laura" the teacher says walking past me. "Hi Laura" a bunch of really cute guys say to me and smile well I mean there cute but there not like hot there just well cute, "hi" I say back in a giggle.
After science class I walked to ELA and we started learning about the Greek and Roman gods. " Ok so today we'll be learning about gods like Zeus, Neptune, and Poseidon. Ok so Neptune is the God of the..." the teacher stops talking right as we her a loud gunshot in are school. "This school is now under lockdown" Someone on the speaker says and then are class all hides, I hide in a cupboard and try to hold my breath.
