The maze is back. And it's worse than ever.
16 years after Thomas and the others escaped the maze and survived the Scorch, they now live in a community full of those immune to the Flare, but there are still those who are not. WICKED is back, and the Trials begin yet again. This time, with the children of the original Gladers and some children of still unknown origin.
This time, there's only one maze, but its bigger and crazier than ever before, including 3 levels and 8 sections on each level. It continues the trend of all boys in the Glade until about 5 months after the Maze Trials begin, when 6 girls appear in the Box.
