The three of us head out to the same cafe we went to the day before. There are so many restaurants in the area, but students tend to hangout here a lot, the girls inform me.

We're all wearing knee length dresses. Mine is pink, Chloe's is baby blue and Avalon's is purple.

When we reach the cafe, I realize they were right. The place is packed. I don't see any empty seats, but soon after, Brayden shows up.

"Hey ladies", he shouts to us since the place is so noisy.

We all wave back, since the place is a tad bit too loud for talking.

Brayden leads us to a section to the far back, where the music is much quieter. I see a table with four other guys and a girl. We all take a seat.

Brayden looks at his friends and says "everyone, this is Chloe's new roommate, River Daniels" and turns to me and says "River, this is everyone."

We all say hi, and they all drift into their own conversations forgetting all about me. I don't have a problem though, they're all strangers so it's not like I even know what to say to them.

"So how are you enjoying Winter so far?", the dark guy with curly black hair and shimmering brown eyes asks.

"It's a dream come through", I say, meaning every word.

"I'm Caleb Allen, by the way."

I smile at him.

"I hope you can catch up to everyone since you missed an entire term", the girl who Caleb's arm is wrapped around says. "I'm Alessandra but everyone calls me Ali", she pauses before continuing. "I started January of last year and the other dancers were so advanced, it was so hard to keep up."

"I don't think she'll have that problem", Chloe interjects.

"River is beyond amazing", Avalon adds.

"That's great. We need more dedicated dancers here since so many of the students stopped working hard because they now have a spot. I'm Connor", the redheaded guy with freckles says.

I look at Avalon and I realize that this is the guy who she said she has a crush on. I see her blush and try to get comfortable in her seat once more.

They start talking about some people I don't know and stuff that happened long before I got here, so I just sit, pretend to listen, and laugh when everyone else does.

Soon a waitress comes to take our order. Ali, Avalon, Chloe and I all order salads and orange juice. Brayden, Caleb and Connor order cheeseburgers, large fries and extra large sodas. The two guys left, whose names I didn't get, both order pizzas with ham, bacon, cheese and salami, along with diet cokes. They've been so quiet all along, I hadn't paid much attention to them, so I didn't realize they were identical twins, extremely hot identical twins.

After taking the orders, the waitress leaves. Everyone starts talking again, and I'm forgotten once more. I still don't mind being ignored because I'm really not used to having friends. Well I think I'm being ignored, until I notice one of the twins is staring at me. I look at him and smile, and the minute I do, I totally regret it. He has dreamy baby blue eyes and I'm lost in them for a second.

"Hi, I'm Ashton Johnson."

A blush escapes, and I know he notices because he has a smirk on his face. I quickly hide my face and when I find the courage to turn back to him, I see he's still staring and I decide to hold his stare and smile back. A million things rush through my head at that moment, and I notice this is the second time I've had this feeling since I got here, and it's only my second day! Not letting guys get in the way of my training is going to be way harder than I thought.

After we finish our food, everyone retreats to the dance floor, well, except for me. They all seem to be enjoying themselves and I can't help but smile. I wonder how long it'll take to get used to this life. I wonder if I want to.

"Hey, wanna dance with me?"

I look up to see dreamy blue eyes looking right down on me. How could I say no to that?

"Sure", I say while getting up.

"I'm Joshua Johnson, but you can call me Josh."

I blush and look straight ahead and realize that this is Ash's twin. Ash looks directly at us, with a look that I am most certainly sure is betrayal.

We dance for a while then we head on outside. We say our goodbyes Chloe, Avalon and I walk back to our dorm.

* * * *

"That was a good night wasn't it?", Chloe asks as we walk back into our room.

"Yeah it was. Connor and I actually had a decent conversation without me saying anything stupid." The look on Avalon's face made Chloe and I laugh.

"What?", she asks.

"Oh nothing, nothing at all. By the way, River you seemed to be occupied by Josh", Chloe says raising her eyebrows.

I blush and as I'm about to tell them about my encounter with the twins, Leila comes in, completely ignoring Avalon and Chloe.

"River darling, I think we should get some rest before your first day of classes."
