AFTER A SERIES OF groaning, screaming, and almost-slapping each other in the face, Fynn's cousin Jacqueline was 'A-OKAY' with what he had done with the money she was about to use for her best friend's birthday present. Alright, maybe she wasn't exactly a hundred percent happy, and maybe her words weren't exactly the same.
She only found out that the money was missing days later.
"I am so locking my room next time," she uttered, despicably rolling her eyes at him. "Fynn, you're such a dick."
"Vagina," Fynn chirped back.
"Don't fucking call me that," she said, right before loudly slamming the door in his face. With that, he walks to his bedroom. It was right across the hallway from hers.
This is Jacqueline, Fynn's twenty-one year old cousin ─ also an equivalent of having a female sibling. Or, an equivalent of a twin (by that, Fynn meant another seventeen-year old). Jackie was your average young and blooming adult who had the heart of a teenager. And mind. And taste. And soul. Just not the body.
Jackie was known for not being able to save and partying. Day and night. Yes, she happened to be one of those people. It was one of the reasons why she got kicked out of her parents' home in the first place who were somewhere in New Brunswick.
The Castle's were rich and all, but Jacqueline's parents, Aunt Elisa and Uncle Dave, told her that she should try getting herself a job and work. So, now she's working ─ and living in Fynn's extra bedroom, because she was lucky enough to be Fynn's mom's favorite niece, somehow ─ and still not saving enough money for a house.
That was how she had ended up with over a couple hundred dollars.
Now, Fynn knew he'd have to repay her someday, for the Macbook. It was already a burden & he's already starting to feel guilty for taking the money ─ though, no way in hell would he return that. He couldn't stand using his dad's old computer (one complete with the fat metal box where all the doo-hickies were inserted and all those random wires.)
When last week's Zoella Youtube marathon was finished, Cassie had told Fynn she'd give him a response later. A review. And boy, was Fynn begging to know what it was. The two of them watched twenty or thirty of her videos. He gathered the clues too, from each video. It was funny that whenever you introduce someone a movie of some sort, you'd end up watching that person watch that movie instead of watching with her. That's exactly how Fynn felt; and now, he felt like a creep.
Most of Cassie's thoughts were ridiculous:
"Those are the most adorable guinea pig I have ever seen in my entire life!"
"Why can't I just have her accent?"
"Why can't I be British?"
She made so many irrelevant comments on it and they irritated him (even though he'd have to agree with most of them.) He was there to tell her every little detail he knew about that Youtuber, in hopes that she would become one of them.
His train of thought disappeared as he turned his Macbook on. He was about to watch another Youtube video, this time by the Harries twins. Fynn decided these two Youtubers would be the next he'd show her. . .if she agreed to let him continue with the whole 'converting into a Youtuber' idea.
Hey, at least she already lost her Youtube virginity, he thought and laughed to himself.
Amazing how he was also patient while waiting for her response.
Logging himself on, he also connected his camera to it to upload the videos he took. He never edits any of his videos. He calls it 'waiting for the right time to start being a real Youtuber.' But really, it's procrastinating.
