"I am Kira,"Ryusaki said.
"Do you think I'm gonna fall for that,"Lexandra said.
"Well if you really wanna see if I'm Kira there is really only one way,to bad I really wanted you to help me,"Ryusaki said.
"Ryusaki, I would never believe your Kira,your the reason I even became a cop,"Lexandra said.
"So you still don't believe I'm kira?"Ryusaki said.
"No absolutely not,"Lexandra said crossing her arms.
"Very good, so I was right to think you trusted me but did you really become a cop because you were inspired by me,"Ryusaki asked his face getting a little pink.
"Yeah I did,ever since you solved your first case,"Lexandra said.
"Well Lexandra is surely incredible and intelligent enough to work with…,"Ryusaki thought.
"Well you can go now,I'm sure your tired it's already one thirteen,"Ryusaki said.
Lexandra nodded and grabbed her phone off the table.
"Goodnight Ryusaki,"Lexandra said.
"Goodnight Lexandra,"Ryusaki said.
Lexandra smiled as she shut the door. She started jumping up and down.
"Yes,yes,yes, I get to work with the best detective in the world,"Lexandra said with a bright smile.
Ryusaki could hear everything she was saying. He chuckled a little and walked away from the door.
She walked back to her car and listened to music.
As soon as she got to her house she watched TV and slowly drifted off into sleep.
When she woke up her phone was going off.she ran over to almost tripping on kenny.
"Hello,"Lexandra said sluggishly
"Lexandra,need you over here right now"Ryusaki said in his monotone voice.
"I'll be there in ten minutes,"Lexandra said.
She didn't think she had to get dressed so she ran out of the house with pajama bottoms and a t-shirt.
She ran to her car and raced over to the hotel L was staying at.
When she got there she ran into the hotel as fast as she could.
She knocked on the door, she heard shuffling then the door opened.
"You took eight minutes and forty five seconds,"Ryusaki said
Lexandra heaved for air and was having sweat drip off of her.
"Well you can come in and sit down,while we wait for the others"Ryusaki said.
"Am I the first here?"Lexandra asked panting.
"Yes, my apologies If I woke you I know it's early,"Ryusaki said.
Lexandra sat down across from Ryusaki.
"It ok, I was gonna wake up in an hour anyway,"Lexandra said.
All of a sudden Ryusaki Phone rang.
"Hello,ok I see,"Ryusaki said and hung up.
"Watari is on his way,"Ryusaki said.
Lexandra eyes lit up.
Lexandra and Ryuzaki waited sitting in the quiet as he drank tea.Then the rest of the team including Watari walked in.
"The fact I'm here means L trusts you,"Watari said.
"Watari show them the new their badges,"Ryusaki said.
"Why do we need new badges,"Aziawa said.
"Fake names,"Ryusaki said.
"So Kira doesn't know our names by looking at our badges,"Lexandra said.
"Yes, and I would also suggest wearing these,"Watari said holding out belts
"This will allow Ryusaki to know your whereabouts and when you press the middle button,it will call my phone Immediately,"Watari said.
"No way this is so cool,"Matsuda said.
Watari smiled at us then handed out the belts and badges.
"Also, come to think of it, who is at the police force,"Ryusaki said.
"No one at the moment,"Mr.Yagami said.
"Oh,that's not good,we need someone to always be there"Ryusaki said.
"I will go,"Aziwa said walking to the door.
Ryusaki nodded and watched as he walked out the door.
When Ryusaki and the group was done finishing up the files.Ryusaki let everyone go home but Matsuda,Aizawa,and Lexandra.
"Why are you we staying here,"Aizawa said
"You guys will be helping me with the FBI agents deaths,"Ryusaki said.
"Wait why I thought we already knew what happened,"Matsuda said.
"There might be a small clue that Kira left?"Lexandra asked.
"Yes,possibly,"Ryusaki said.
As the night went on they read more paper it was already two thirty and matsuda and Aizawa were ready to leave but Lexandra was almost glued to Ray Pember for some reason.
"Ryusaki, didn't you say there was a tape of Ray Pember's death?"Lexandra asked.
"Why yes, it's on the coffee table,"Ryusaki said.
Lexandra grabbed it and put it in the TV. She watched as Ray got on the train, he seemed normal but moving at a fast rate to the train. When he got out of the train through he clasped looking at something in the train, almost reaching for something.
"Could Kira be on the train?"Lexandra thought.
She watched it again noticing an envelope this time but when he got off the train it was gone.
"Ryusaki, did you notice the envelope?"Lexandra said.
"Yes I did,"Ryusaki said.
Watari handed Lexandra an ice cream and went back to the kitchen.Lexandra smiled.
The next day when everyone was there. L had another phone call. He seemed token back this one though.
"Yes,hello Naomi has died?"Ryusaki said.
He hung up the phone.
"Everyone we have to have surveillance on the last two houses that Ray Pember was spying on,"Ryusaki said.
"These two houses are the Yagami's and Lexandra's house,"Ryusaki said.
"What Ryusaki you can't do that,Its a privacy invasion,"Matsuda said.
"Its ok for you to do it in my house, but what is the chance it's one of us,"Mr.Yagami said.
"There is only a five percent chance,"Ryusaki said.
"Well Kira has to be stopped so even though there is a one percent chance you can put it in every crack of the house, even the bathrooms,"Mr.Yagami said.
Lexandra was a little hurt that Ryusaki as gonna put cameras in her house. All she has done is go to work and sleep, she really didn't even have a social life.
"Lexandra even though I will be putting cameras in your house I will not put them in your bathroom,"Ryusaki said.
"I'm almost certain you are not kira,"Ryusaki said.
Lexandra nodded.
"Thank you very much for your cooperation, you may go home now,"Ryusaki said.
They all left to go home.Lexandra walked to her car and sat in her seat for a second. She sighed and drove home,she then went to bed in her pajamas and t-shirt. She passed out at five and woke up three hours later.
She heard a knock on her door, she opened to find Ryusaki in a cap.
"Oh hey come in,"Lexandra said as if she was expecting him.
When he walked in she shut the door.
"Ryusaki, I wasn't expecting any company I'm so sorry about the mess,"Lexandra said.
Ryusaki looked around to an almost clean house. Kenny meowed and sat beside Ryusaki.
"So did you need anything,"Lexandra said.
"Well, yes I thought since watari is placing cameras in the house, you needed out of the house and since you have working on this case twenty four seven,so you could take a break and go to the park with me,"Ryusaki said
"Alright,is this your disguise,"Lexandra said flicking the cap he had on.
Ryusaki blushed a little but got a call on his phone from Watari.
"Has the Yagami cameras been installed,alright then,"Ryusaki said.
He opened the door as Lexandra walked to her car.
"Thank you,"Lexandra said.
Ryusaki got in the car and Lexandra drove off.
They sat in silence until they got to the park. L and her walked around.
"What could I talk about besides of Kira to L,I mean we don't usually talk about anything else,"Lexandra thought.
"It's a beautiful day outside, shockingly I don't go out a lot,"Ryusaki said.
Lexandra giggled at that and smiled looking at the cherry trees all around the park.
"To bad we can't stay here for long, I mean we have to be at work soon,"Lexandra said.
"Yes, but that's not for another hour so we have some time," Ryusaki said.
Ryusaki got a call saying there was six more heart attacks.
"Watari actually put the camera in number 56's house,"Ryusaki said.
Ryusaki hung up the phone.
"So your not gonna put cameras in my house?"Lexandra said.
"No, but this raises the chance of the Yagami family,"Ryusaki said.
"So technically we are working right now,"Lexandra said and laughed.
"Well not exactly, there is a candy store across the park if you want to go,"Ryusaki said putting a slight bit of energy in Ryusaki's voice that shocked Lexandra.
"Why not,"Lexandra said walking behind Ryusaki.
When they got there Ryusaki looked at everything, Lexandra watched him closely and noticed how his expression changed when he looked at the strawberry cake.
She walked up to the counter wanting to impress Ryusaki a little bit. Lexandra had been watching him eat candy none stop but he mostly ate ice cream, lollipops,macaroons,and cakes.
"Yes may I have two lollipops, one cake pop, a slice of strawberry cake, and four macaroons,"Lexandra said
The lady nodded and got a bag and put the lollipops,cake pop, and macaroons in a small bag. Then put a big piece of cake into a box.
"That will be fifty five dollars,"she said.
Lexandra reached for her wallet but Ryusaki beat her to it.
"I've got this one,"He said and lightly smiled.
Ryusaki and lexandra walked back to the car holding the sweets.
"Well I guess it's time to go to work,"Lexandra said.
"Presume so but I'm not sharing my food with anyone else,"Ryusaki said stubbornly.
Lexandra laughed, thinking it was adorable and drove to the hotel.
"Actually you can drive me to the college campus and go home and enjoy your cake pop and relax,"Ryusaki said.
"Why the college campus?,"Lexandra asked going to it instead of the hotel
"Its where Mr.Yagami's son is named light, I'm going to pretend to be a student a watch him,"Ryusaki said.
"Alright, just be safe ok?"Lexandra said.
"You are the only one who has ever said that to me,"Ryusaki said.
"Well I don't want my friends to die,"Lexandra said.
"Wait did I just let that slip out, I don't want to make things weird what if I'm just a client to him and not a friend,"Lexandra thought.
"Lexandra?"Ryusaki said.
"Yes, Ryusaki?Lexandra questioned nervously.
"I feel like you're the only friend I have ever had,"Ryusaki said.
Lexandra started blushing, her face was as red as an apple.
"Are you ok?"Ryusaki said.
"Yes, well I guess. I never really have had friend either,"Lexandra said.
"Well I will see you at work tomorrow watari can pick me up this evening,"Ryusaki said as the car stopped in front of the college.
They waved bye to each other as Ryusaki shut the door.
Lexandra drove home as she almost got home.she got stopped by a light which seemed to take forever, when it was her time to go she pulled out. She heard a loud horn as a truck hit her car causing it to flip over making Lexandra go unconscious.
When she woke up there was a bright light shining in her face.she felt a bandage on her head. She looked up as she saw everyone in the task force besides Ryusaki.Even watari was there.
"Lexandra Im glad your awake, I was just about to go pick up Ryusaki and I will bring him straight here,"Watari said.
Everyone looked nervous at Lexandra.
"Well you should definitely take a couple of days off,"Mr.Yagami said.
"No, I have to stop Kira,"Lexandra said getting slightly up wincing in pain.
"Lexandra you really should rest,"Matsuda said concerned.
"I'm resting today and tomorrow I will be back at work,"Lexandra said.
"Lexandra you're gonna work yourself to death,literally I mean look what happened today,"Aziawa said.
"If I can't work and stop Kira..then who am I?,"Lexandra said.
Everyone stood silent.
"Your our friend,"Aizawa said.
"You didn't even know I existed until this case, you didn't back me up when I got shamed for being a woman and definitely not when I was alone repeatedly having an endless cycle of meaningless nothing,"Lexandra yelled.
"I'm sorry,"Aizawa said walking out of the room.
Everyone one else walked out with him and looked at Lexandra sadly. Lexandra realized without this case she is nothing, who was she kidding she was nothing without Ryusaki being around.
She felt tears start to fall down.she sat there alone for the next ten minutes.until she heard Ryusaki and Watari's voice.
She tried to wipe away her tears but her eyes were still red.Ryusaki walked in. Lexandra guessed Watari waited outside.
"Hey Ryusaki, so bad news I didn't get to eat the cake pop,"Lexandra said.
Ryusaki bent down and hugged Lexandra as tight as he could.Lexandra gasped.
"I thought when Watari told me you were in the hospital, that Kira had got you,"He said.
"I should have seen that bus,but I was to be busy wrapped in my own world I guess,"Lexandra said.
"I heard that you went off on the task force,"Ryusaki said.
"I did but I guess I owe them an apology,"Lexandra said
"I think light is in fact Kira,"Ryusaki said.
"Really!"Lexandra said trying to get up but wincing.
"Well there is a fifty percent chance,"Ryusaki said.
"I will have to study his records then,"Lexandra said.
"You need to rest and I already have, there's nothing of any interest,"Ryusaki said.
"Plus I can't have my friend, working herself to death,"Ryusaki said.
"Ryusaki I want to thank you,"Lexandra said raising up.
"For what?"
"Ryusaki asked.
"Well without you I wouldn't have gone anywhere but you believed in me, I used to just hand out coffee to all the workers and getting laughed at for trying too hard. Without you believing in me I would be no one,"Lexandra said.
"I find that untrue, you were all destined to have a great future and if it wasn't me someone else would see your a brilliant and hard working lady,"Ryusaki said.
"Well I'm just glad that you were the one to see all of that in me,"Lexandra said.
"Lexandra can I be honest with you,"Ryusaki said.
"Well, I think that I might like you,"Ryusaki said bluntly.
Lexandra's heart stopped.Did she just hear that.
"He likes me, wait am I still asleep, this can't be happening,"Lexandra thought feeling life fill through her again.
"Well there is a ninety-eight percent chance,"Ryusaki said.
"I like you too Ryusaki,"Lexandra said.
"I thought you wouldn't,once again you have surprised me,"Ryusaki said.
Ryusaki and Lexandra blushed.
"The doctor suggested that someone watches how you lay down when you sleep, if you like, you can stay at the hotel, I won't be sleeping tonight so you can sleep in the bed," Ryusaki said.
"Alright, I mean it would be easier since I have no way to get to the hotel on my own , is the car really that bad off?"Lexandra asked
"Yes,it's completely totaled,"Ryusaki said.
"Aw man,I really liked that car,"Lexandra said.
Lexandra's phone started to go off.
"Hello?"Lexandra said.
"Hey how is everything going?"her dad asked.
"Dad I can't talk right now but Tomorrow maybe?"Lexandra said.
"Alright well stay safe and I love you,"Her dad said.
"I love you too,"Lexandra said.
She hung up and put the phone back in her pocket.
"Alright so are you ready to get out of here?"Ryusaki asked.
"As long as you have a softer bed than this than I'm fine,"Lexandra said.
Ryusaki laughed softly and helped Lexandra out of the hospital. When they got back to the hotel Ryusaki made sure Lexandra was laying in the right position,then Lexandra dazed off into sleep.
Ryusaki went to his desk across the room and went over files about Light.Everything just seemed to innocent about Light.
"It's almost like he knows someone is watching him,did he see the camera's?"Ryusaki thought.
"Nonetheless, I will take the camera's down from the household's tomorrow,"Ryusaki thought as he grabbed a paper out of his pocket.
The paper was information on Lexandra's hospital record on the wreck.Ryusaki looked at it a moment then put it on the desk as well.
"She is fine,so why can't I stop worrying about her,"Ryusaki thought.
The next day when all of the task force was present.
"I have went over the audio records and tapes of the camera's and it has revealed…nothing,I will be removing the camera's today,"Ryusaki said sighing.
Mr.Yagami seemed relieved and sighed.
"But there is still a one percent chance that one of the people on the camera's is Kira,"Ryusaki said.
Then Ryusaki dazed off as everyone stayed silent.
Then he got up.
"you may all go home now I have something to attend to,Lexandra I will drop you off at your house,"Ryusaki said.
Everyone looked shocked but still walked out, Lexandra waited for Ryusaki.
"Let's get going Lexandra,"Ryusaki said.
watari dropped Lexandra off
"Ryusaki are you going back to the college,"Lexandra said.
"Yes,I think if I get to know him better I can figure out he is Kira,"Ryusaki said.
"Be safe,"Lexandra said. As Ryusaki drove off.
Lexandra walked through her door and fell asleep on the couch.when she woke up it already close to three pm.The phone rang.
"Hello?"Lexandra asked in a tired voice.
"Lexandra! Mr.Yagami had a heart attack,"Matsuda yelled.
"Wait,Kira found out who he was,how!"Lexandra said feeling her heart race.
"I don't think so, he is still alive in the hospital right now,"Matsuda said.
"Matsuda! You scared me I thought chief was dead!"Lexandra yelled making her cat run into the bedroom.
"Sorry, I got worked up,"Matsuda said.
"It's fine sorry I yelled,"Lexandra said.
"Also light's over here with Ryusaki,"Matsuda said.
"Oh, do you think that light is Kira?"Lexandra asked.
"Well he seems so normal, I don't think he is but then again Ryusaki does suspect him,"Matsuda said.
"Well I gotta go,talk to you later,"Lexandra said.
"Alright,see you later,"Matduda said.
Lexandra hung up and laid back on the couch.
"If Ryusaki thinks Light is Kira then there is more of a percentage then he is saying, it's more than one percent, it's more like a seventy percent chance,"Lexandra thought
"Also that's probably how Kira got police information because light's dad is a police officer,plus light is a student so everything fits perfectly,I have to meet Light"Lexandra thought.
Lexandra sighed thinking about Kira winning,Ryusaki would have to be dead for Kira to win and Lexandra wouldn't let it happen.
"Well I definitely have a crush on Ryusaki, I mean he is just so calming and intelligent,he makes feel safe..,"Lexandra thought tearing up.
She finally fell asleep. She opened eyes to see she was at s funeral. Everyone from the task force was there besides Ryusaki.Then she looked up to see a strange name on the casket.
"L.lawliet,"I was written in gold letters.
Lexandra's heart dropped as she walked closer to the casket.she seen Ryusaki laying in it,his skin was almost white and his eyes were closed.Lexandra fell to her knees and cried as she felt something touch her shoulder.
It was a guy with dark brown hair and a suit on.He had brown eyes.Lexandra felt shivers run down her spine.
"I am Kira,"He said as Lexandra clenched her chest and fell through the ground. She saw a black door and fell on top of it. It slowly opened to Reveal Ryusaki.
Lexandra ran to him and hugged him.Ryusaki hugged her back and smiled.
"I missed you,"Ryusaki said.
Lexandra's eyes shot open as she fell off her couch feeling tears fall of her face.She looked at the clock.
"Man it's already five forty,"Lexandra said.
She slowly got off the floor and made breakfast.She made Pancakes and bacon since it was early and had lots of time on her hands.
She ate and watched TV and thought about the dream she had.I mean there is no way Kira looks like that or that's Ryusaki's actual name,"Lexandra thought.
Lexandra watched TV for about an hour then decided to head over to that sweet shop Her and Ryuzaki went to.she walked this time,enjoying just getting out.
When she arrived she seen Ryusaki in there,her face got red and by the time she tried walking away from the shop he noticed her.
Ryusaki smiled and grabbed a box of chocolates along with the three bags he had. Then paid the girl and walked out going after Lexandra rather quickly.
He tapped on her shoulder and held up the chocolate's blushing.
"I got these for you since you didn't come into the candy store,"Ryusaki said.
"Oh,thanks I was just out for a walk to enjoy this lovely day,"Lexandra said nervously.
"Its cloudy..Lexandra are you feeling okay your face is red again,"Ryusaki said as Lexandra took the chocolate he was trying to hand to her.
"I am fine and yeah I know it's cloudy but the temperature is perfect and it's not raining right now,"Lexandra said.
"Lexandra stop lying, I seen you grab the door handle to the shop,"Ryusaki said.
