The Beach

The sun shone brightly through the Evergreen Inn windows. Lighting the dark rooms through the thin curtains waking each family in each room up. Yesterday everyone came to the beach at midnight and didn't get to spend the day hanging out, so they are planning to do it today.

Chloe tip toed to the bathroom changing up and letting Adrian sleep awhile longer with Madison cradled under one of his arms and Matthew under the other. The kids were sleeping soundly and it surprised her that Matthew hardly cried that night. She showered and changed hurriedly getting out so that Adrian could use the bathroom, but she was surprised that he was still sleeping. Chloe smiles to herself and tip toed up to her husband,

"Good morning handsome." Chloe leans down to whisper in his ear and he chuckles in his sleep softly then rubbed his eyes.

"You're so early." Adrian's sleepy voice was just so cute, it always melted her heart.

"Nu-uh sleepyhead. The sun is way above your head." Chloe pointed to the clock and Adrian sat up stretching his arms in the sky, and then took Chloe's hand, pulling her down to sit on his lap.

Chloe giggles kissing his cheek quickly, "we have a long day together."

Adrian exhales lightly and wraps his arms around her waist from the side and rests his chin on her shoulder, "can I just have one more minute dreaming?" He pleaded and she shook her head, pinching his cheeks,

"Get up! We need to get the kids ready." She laughs and Adrian falls back to the bed closing his eyes. Chloe shot up in shock. He was soo tired at the word getting ready. Matthew didn't even budge last night but Madison kept wailing for milk, so he had to get up and get her the needs before Chloe wakes up. He wanted her to sleep, so he did all the night shift with the kids. The time he truly went to bed was around three in the morning. Adrian turns away towards the twins and pulled them against his chest warming them up in the cold morning. Chloe shakes her head and plops down beside her husband.

"Five minutes only."

Ethan woke up early getting ready while Athena and Alyson slept like cold bears. The thick blankets were pulled up over their heads covering the bright sun rays. Athena has her head laid on Alyson's shoulder with her legs spread out on the sheets. Alyson wrapped one arm around her daughters' side sleeping quietly in the warmth. Once Ethan finished doing his hair, he glanced back at his wife and daughter with a smile.

He walks up to the bedside and yanked the blackest off their bodies, "its morning beautiful!"

The bright rays brightened up Athena's face making her squint from the luminosity. She rubbed her eyes sitting up while Alyson stayed still as a log, "mommy..." She shook Alyson gently making Ethan chuckle. He love seeing his daughter wake up; she was the most precious even that happened in his life. He picked her up and set her on his lap, brushing her hair with his fingers.

"Athena, want to wake mommy up?" Ethan smirked and she nodded rapidly knowing what their traditional way was. The two of them got up on the bed running their fingers on Alyson's stomach making fits of laughter's escape her lips. Alyson jumped out of bed yawning,
