Lucia's POV:
"Mommy..... mommy," my four-year-old said tapping my forehead as I try to sleep.
"Yes.... lovely adorable child of mine," I asked.
"I want some milk." She said.
"Ok. Come up here first. Mommy wants to give you some kisses."
She went to the other side and started to climb up my bed.
"Good morning mi corazon. I said as I kissed her on her cheek.
"Morning." She said.
"Milk."
"Ok. Let's go get you that milk. Do you want it warmed up?" I asked as I put on my slippers.
"Yes!" She yelled as she climbed out of my bed.
I pulled off the covers and followed her to the kitchen.
"Reign baby can you go to your room and put some socks on. I don't want you getting sick." I said.
"Ok. Milk."
"I'm warming it up for you. Go put on your socks and it will be ready when you come back."
"Ok. Don't drink it." She said as she ran off to her room.
"Don't worry it will still be here," I said laughing.
She came back running from her room with one sock on her foot and the other in her hand.
"Adelaide put on your sock please."
She put it on and I gave her her milk.
"Let's go watch some cartoons."
She grabbed my hand as we walked out of the kitchen.
"What does my little munchkin want to watch?"
"Barney." She said.
"Ok just for a little while ok. We got to get you ready for daddy. You're hanging out with him today. Remember?" I said
"Ok. Let's get ready." She said jumping off the couch.
"I thought we were watching Barney?"
"Nope. Daddy's coming." She said.
"You need to shower then," I said.
For a four-year-old her wanting to get ready is something ode. She usually is always painting and drawing scribbles on her paper pad that Ben got her. Is something wrong with my child??
"Let's pick some clothes mommy." She grabbed my hand and trying to pull me off the couch.
"Ok, let's go," I said finally standing up.
We entered her room and she grabbed a small chair and sat in it.
"Come on love we've got to get you ready. Go pick your clothes for the day."
"Ok. These."
She said holding up some pink leggings and a pink sweater to match it.
"What about your shoes?" I asked.
"You choose mommy."
"Let's see." I said walking over to her shoe rack, "Do you want them to match, or do you want a different color?"
"Match." She said.
"Ok time to shower."
*After shower
I sat her on her bed grabbed her lotion.
"It's cold mommy," she said as I rubbed lotion on her arms.
