Family isn't just blood, it's people you trust that has your back. If you have that person back as they do for you then that bond can't be broken.

I was raised to protect my friends and family. To respect my elders and to never stab those who have your back.

The sun was high in the sky as my nanny tried to get me ready foe school. It was my last day of 10th grade, miss Kee curled my hair a bit and picked out a nice out fit for my last day. I looked into the mirror and did a small twist as i smiled and thanked Ms. Kee for helping me.

"Now, if you end up taking pictures you'll be all pretty. " she said as she pinches my cheek softly as she smailed at me. Ms. Kee is like a mother figure to me even though she is the age to be my grandmother. After my mother passed away Ms. Kee was hired to take care of me while my father was out doing things for our family business.

"Now how about we go join your father for breakfast before you leave for school?" Ms. Kee said as he heads to the door. I followed her down to the kitchen where I saw my father sitting at the kitchen table as he took some notes and drank his coffee like every morning he does. "Daddy!" I yelled out in excitement as I ran to his side.

"Look at my outfit daddy." I said as I twirled around. "You look so beautiful my dear, did you thank Ms. Kee for helping you?" He said as he carried me up to his lap . I nodded my head with a smile.

My father was a very handsome man, he always dressed up in nice pants and a button up shit. Or if it was somthing special he would dress up in a nice suit. My dad is Korean, I mostly got all my dads features and from my mother Hispanic features I got her long dark brown hair and smile.

"Mr. Min we have a situation, you're needed at Stevens now." One of my dads men said. My father sighed and placed me in the chair next to him. "Alright, get the car ready." My dad said as he stood up and put on his coat on. "Have Dave and Walter take Emmeline to school." My father said as he kisses my head before leaving.

My dad never gets the chance to just to sit down and have breakfast with me. "Cherry blossom, tonight let have a movie night just you and me. " he said to me before walking away. I smiled and continued to eat my cereal before I head to school.
