Baby Noah

-RENAE'S POV-

(Remember the book is a year ahead of the year now)
I was driving to the hospital to see my new nephew. I absolutely couldn't wait. Today when i got the call that he was born I was packing up boxes for North Carolina. Was I happy to go back? Kind of, I guess.
When I parked my car {RECAP: Renae has a truck but I'm just gonna say car..} in the parking lot and walked up the the doors into the waiting room, I walked up the the lady at the desk.
"Hello, could you tell me where room 432 is?" I asked her and she smiled "For security reasons who have you come to see today?" She asked me before she answered "My sister-in-law Lainey Kenneth." The lady took awhile to type everything out on her computer. "Okay, here is a visitors tag and her room is on the 2nd floor down the hall on the right." She smiled at me and I gave her a small smiled and walked past her.
I got in the elevator and texted my mom that i was here, then the doors opened back up. I looked up and I couldn't believe my eyes. Hayes Grier. My best friend. Was right in front of me.
"Hey stranger." He said giving me a smirk. I practically dropped my phone and hugged him tightly. "What in the world are you doing here?!" I yelled all he did was smile "Well we thought that we would come see the new baby." I looked at him confused "We?" And the doors opened "We." The surprises gusts said. I looked up and it was Elizabeth and Skylynn.

I dropped my bag and ran over to them and gave Elizabeth a big hug. "I missed you guys so much." I picked up skylynn "And little miss blueskys!" I gave her that nickname awhile back while we were FaceTimeing because she was always happy. "She grabbed my cheeks and looked at me from left to right "And nothing has changed. That's good." I started to laugh "Well I'm glad that you like that I haven't changed." We all started laughing.

We walked in the hospital room and Lainey was holding Noah, Tyler was sitting next to her, my mom and dad where taking pictures. "Do you wanna hold your nephew?"Lainey asked, I nodded and walked over to the bed, he was soooo precious.
My mom took a picture of me holding him. After I was done holding him I gave him back to Lainey. My mom took a picture of Hayes, Skylynn, and I. "Ty, can you walk with me down the the cafeteria so I can get some food? I need some exercise." Lainey asked, "Rae, do you mind watching Noah while we are gone?" Tyler asked me and I nodded.
My parents and Elizabeth decided to go with them so it was just Hayes, Sky, Noah, and I. We started into a lot of conversations, someone then knocked on the door and came in. Nash.
