You got me.

I dream while looking at you.

I got you.

Inside those pitch black nights.

The lights we saw in each other
were saying the same thing

Namjoon heard the loving tune play in his ears. The lyrics he wrote. The same words he dragged from his empty heart had now come in to be used for good.

For Stella.

He fell to Earth with a small rose in his hand. He never knew where it came from, but his hand reached to place the rose into Stella's smaller hand.

She looked up to him with a warm smile.

"It's.. it's nice to meet you too."

Namjoon felt his heart swell. The girl he had watched over for months, maybe a year.

She cared.

It felt.. new, yet familiar. It felt strange, but welcomed. He loved it. Even if it scared him a bit, he felt happy.

He felt like himself again.

Without realizing it, he had his head on her shoulder and his arms around her waist. His body instinctively clung to her, refusing to let go. The devil himself would have to pry him away from her now.

He wouldn't be strong enough, no matter how much he tried.

Namjoon sighed happily, feeling the tears slip from his eyes for the first time. He felt so overwhelmed with emotions that he didn't know what to do.

So he held her tighter, rubbing his star-freckled cheeks against her neck, nuzzling closer to her. He wanted to be as close as possible. This was his dream, after all.

Stella didn't complain nor try to push him away. In fact, she said nothing, but she wrapped her arms around his back, leaning into the man currently sobbing into her shoulder and getting her jacket sleeve soaked.

Did she mind?

Not at all.

She felt like her problems had melted away - all of her doubts, her bad thoughts, they decided to go on a vacation, far, far away from her and Namjoon.

This was for them.

This was their time.

No bad thoughts could enter. No bad feelings. This was all reserved for them.

They were destined to meet, and they knew it. They were just unsure if they were right.

After what felt like hours, but had only been a few seconds, Namjoon pulled away, his sparkling eyes slightly red and puffy from crying.

"I-I'm.. I'm sorry about your jacket. Meeting the only person who's ever r-respected you kind of takes a toll on you.." He chuckled, lifting a hand to wipe his eyes.

Stella smiled to him, lifting a single hand to gently caress his cheek.

"You've got star freckles.. were you the star above me..?" She questioned him softly, her eyes widening a bit.

He nodded, not wishing to lie to her.

"Yes.. I.. watched over you for a while. I saw all of your hardships - it hurt so much to know that I couldn't do anything.. but I'm here now. I'm here to change all of this. I'm here to protect you and care for you."

Stella felt tears well up in her own eyes, albeit slightly more dull than the star's.

She leaned in for another tight, safe embrace, and Namjoon complied, quickly wrapping his protective arms around her.

Her problems melted away once again, as did his.

She felt like she was okay.

So did he.

Their fate was written in the stars, after all...
