Torn Between Worlds(BNHA Fanfic)

Chapter 1

The USJ attack was difficult, I had to hide from the main villains that I knew where in the entrance of the building. I knew I might end up having to work with or for the main baddies and if I showed up to that area, I would've ended up having to fight them. That would probably branded me as a wannabe hero. 

"Hey, you okay Shadow?" A voice called, shaking me out of my thoughts. 

"Yeah, just lost in thought I guess." I called back, trying not to show the panic in my voice or face as Tsu rounded the corner. I turned towards her and smiled. "Why do you ask?" 

She shrugged, "You didn't seem to hear me when I called you the first time and you were just standing there." She stated with a shrug. "I get lost in thought all the time though, so I understand." 

"Yeah, I see it sometimes in class. Anyways, did you need something in particular or were you just saying hi? Sorry if that sounded rude." I questioned her, trying to change the subject. 

"I came to say hi and to invite you to go out with the class later for a get together at the mall to get our minds off the USJ attack now that Izuku is all healed and feeling better. We're meeting up at 4 because that's the time everyone else can meet up." Tsu explained to me seeming to be in a rush to get her words out. 

I didn't question her on it but I agreed to meet up or tell them by text that I couldn't go. I said my goodbye to Tsu and walked home. When I got home I saw Toga waiting for me on the front step of the house. "Hey sis. I'm going out with some friends from class later and no you can't come." She stated firmly, making Toga's smile fade into a pout. 

"Awwww, but that sounds so fun! I might even be able to gather some blood from one of them so I could go to school with you!" She says in a singsong voice, with a pout still on her face. She followed me inside as I set my school stuff down next to the table. 

"That," I paused. "Is exactly why you can't come with me to see my friends." I went into my room and pulled off my uniform, ignoring Toga at the door whining about I'm not fun. I changed into a tank top that said Sarcasm and a pair of kind of baggy sweatpants. To make sure Toga didn't follow me, I went out my window and went through an alley to get to the mall. 

"Hey Shadow!" Most of the class replied with smiles aimed towards me. "You were the last one we were waiting for! Mineta we just didn't invite, Bakugo didn't want to come, and Ojiro had something to do." Kirishima explained, looking bummed out about Bakugo.

I nodded and silently hoped this would be over soon. "Are we gonna hang out as a class or split up into groups based on where we wanna go?" I wondered aloud.

"Not everyone likes the same places in the mall so we should probably split up and meet up so we can all hang out for a little bit before we go home. Besides all of our class can't fit into one store without being kicked out of it." Uraraka suggested, getting small laughs and nods of agreement from most of the class.

We stood around talking for a few minutes but we found groups. I was with Jiro, Momo, Tokoyami, and Mina. Mostly we like Spencer's and Hot Topic but we like other stores around the mall as well. Uraraka was in a group with Tsu, Toru, and Aoyama. Iida was in a group with Todoroki, Izuku, and Shoji. Rikido was in a group with Sero, Kirishima, Denki, and Koda.

"What time should we meet up?" Denki questioned. "Around 5:30 or 6:00? That would give us a while to go all our stores and still have time to hang as a class right?"

"Yeah, so 6:00 good with you guys?" I asked the group. Everyone nodded and we went off to explore the mall.

(Well this is kind of boring because I can't think of dialogue as they walk around the store, so Timeskip to when Shadow is at home.)

"Shadow! I need your help with something!" Toga yelled from the backyard. I groaned and went to the sound of her voice. I only half-expected to see a dead person with multiple stab wounds laying in our backyard.

"What did you doToga? What did we say about killing people in our backyard?" I demanded.

She pouts, "Do it where there isn't any blood because that could get us caught by the police." She retorted. "They just looked so pretty and I couldn't help it." Her pout turned into a big grin as picked up the knife and asked me sweetly, "Could you get rid of this?"

I groan but I do what she asked and use my quirk to destroy the evidence. "I'll take care of the body, wash yourself and your clothes and if I have to I'll destroy them and get you new ones."

She smiles widely and skips off into the house, barely careful enough to make sure that blood didn't get on the floor. I groan again and go over the body. It's a girl who I will say, was very pretty before the stab wounds. The stab wounds were deep and blood had stopped flowing out of them, making me think that Toga had killed her hours ago. Some of her wounds were deep enough to see the bones that had been covered and somewhat clotted with blood. I put my hands on her body and used my quirk to destroy any evidence that she even existed. The only thing left was remnants of my death mist and her blood on the grass. 

-Sorry if you wanted to see what they did at the mall but I had an idea for it but then forgot what I was gonna do with that part of the story. The story takes place after the USJ attack but I'm not going to explain the Hosu city attacks or Stain, but I will add Shadow into the Sports Festival and give an overview of what she was doing when she was in her work study and who she was with. all of the things that happen after Hosu will have Shadow inserted into it but since I haven't watched ANY of Season 4 or read any part of the manga that goes with those conflicts, I'll be using my own story for after that point. Please don't hate on the story line I made up. Have fun reading this or if you don't want to read this, then don't. It doesn't bother me at all.-
