Lizard-folk live in swamp-cities, away from the prying eyes of others. Gnomes live in small forest huts clustered together and camouflaged in the bush

Magic: Requires verbal incantations and a "sense" of the arcane. Some spells may require "ingredients" or a "catalyst" / "conduit." Many may study and never produce a single simple spell, others may have unnaturally quick mastery. Elves, Dragons and Dragonkin have a stronger link to the arcane than other races.
