As soon as I had reached my resolution, I hurried to the police station to reel in the new discovery I had just made. On my way out I told Adam that I was going to out to the police station. Then, I turned my hand over the cold door knob and rushed over to unlock my car.

"I know it sounds stupid but trust me it's the only possible solution" I tried to rationally explain to the officers who clearly looked at me like I were some kind of lunatic.
"So how do you expect us to find this 'December' of yours? And what would we say to the security guards standing guard near the perimeter of the beach... that we're looking for a 'December'!?" All of a sudden, all the officers joined together to laugh. I must admit, it did sound stupid but it is the only answer I'd got to the puzzling riddle. Regardless, it really boiled my anger because they were making fun of me even though they did nothing themselves!
So after humiliating myself in front of all the officers, I decided to go to the Boston Bay by myself to look around and try to find 'December'. As I was heading towards the place, I decided to call my assistant, Adam Wilson.
"Hello Adam..."
"Ma'am I'm sorry he left early"; instead of Adam's voice I heard my nursing assistant, Narcissa's voice.
"He left?" I was confused. Why didn't he tell me he was leaving?
"Well ma'am he said that he wasn't feeling well about an hour ago so he left and now I got a call back from his wife saying that his condition was getting pretty serious so he was taken to the hospital and got diagnosed by leukemia"
"All of a sudden?", it was so unbelievable, he was alright when I had left. So what happened?
"Yes. His wife said that he might not be in for about a month. He needs to get therapy treatments done. It's all very shocking." I sighed. I was already having a bad enough day and now this...
"Okay, could you try to look for someone to replace him while he's still recovering?"
"Should I contact your batch fellow, Mr. Jeremy Lanyon?"
"Yes, please"
Great, another problem up my sleeve. I tried to shove the thought off of my head and focus on what was more important; finding 'December'.
Just as I decided to move further my phone buzzed:
"Why don't you stop by for a drink? I hear that the restaurant here has some cool beverages.
-anonymous."I looked around; maybe this was another hint but it could be a trap too. It was just odd how this anonymous person was able to reach out to me while I had no idea where this person was themself. First the mail and now my phone?
Walking up from near the vacated benches and smiling families having picnics, I saw something that made me glee. "The December restaurant!", the exclusive brunch restaurant located by the sandy bayside of Boston, giving a breathtaking view of the sloppy deep blue waves. It must be the shop that the person was talking about, I couldn't believe that the thought didn't come to me earlier.
As soon as I had realized that this was my December, I decided to call in the police station and shove my piece of information up their snubby noses so that they come on over to take a look.. and maybe even apologise for making fun of me, which I doubt they ever would.
Hey there! How are y'all feeling now? Hope everyone is well, but other than that; how do you all feel about this chapter? Were you expecting "December" to be a restaurant? And what do you think is going to be the reaction of the police officers once they get to know that Melanie ACTUALLY found "her December"? Let's find out what happens next it the next chapter! Stay Tuned!
