I can't breathe. My head is being merged into the waves, like I'm becoming them. Every second feels like an eternity. As I flip I see my reflection in the waves above. My long blonde hair covering my light, sad blue eyes.

As I emerge to the surface I gasp for breath. The earth above is empty. No stars in the sky, nor color to these dull waves. Its simply, a starless night.

The waves push me under again. Who am I? Where am I? As I sink to the bottom I think about giving up. No. I half to keep my head above water.

I can't swim, by the way. All my countless efforts to submerge to the top of these waves, fail. I can't tell which way is up.

I can't right now. I'll shrug it off. When I wake up I'll figure it out.

Nothing.
