Chapter 1

"Thanks again Michael. it means a lot for you to be here." I smiled walking into the hospital with the boy.
"Maria stop thanking me! It's actually an honour to be here. Out of all people you choose the boy you've known for 2 weeks to come to your baby ultrasound." He smiled back as we took a seat in the waiting room after checking in.
"In all honesty I think your the only guy in my life that isn't weirded out or disappointed in the fact that I'm single and pregnant." I looked down at my lap sadly. I felt a hand being placed on my shoulder and looked up to see Michael smiling at me.
"I'm not going anywhere love. I'm staying with you throughout this whole journey." It was my turn to smile back at him.
"Maria Anderson" I heard the doctor call my name. Michael and I stood and started walking towards her. She motioned for us to follow her into the office so we did.
"Hi Maria I'm Dr Drew. I'm assuming your Mr Anderson" The doctor asked Michael.
He smiled and replied with "no in actually just a friend." I lay down on the bed while Mike sat in the chair next to the bed and while the doctor got everything prepared.
"Okay Maria so what we are going to be doing today is simply check to see how the baby is doing and see if its healthy and everything." I smiled and nodded. "Can you please lift up your shirt a little? I'm just going to put some of this gel on your tummy and it may tickle a little bit okay?" I nodded again as she placed the gel on my stomach. She moved the wand around until a small blur appeared of the screen. "Now you may not be able to see the baby but that's because it's too early. Everything seems to be fine though, I can hear the heart beat and its growing great. There's nothing to worry about." The doctor took the wand off my stomach before handing me a tissue to wipe the gel off with. I pulled my shirt back down and stood up slowly. "Okay so you guys are free to go, I'll see you in about a month to see how everything is going okay?" I nodded and we started to walk out.
"Thanks again Dr Drew. I'll see you in a month." I smiled waving as I walked with Michael to the entrance of the hospital.
"What shall we do now love? I'm thinking we go get some lunch and then maybe go to a movie. What do you think?" I smiled at Michael.
"That sounds amazing Mikey. Bubs is feeling pretty hungry right now." I smiled placing my hand on my tummy. There wasn't a bump yet due to the fact it's too early but I still felt amazed that there's a person growing inside me. We hopped into Michael's car and he started the engine.
"Pizza?" Michael looked over at me before turning back to the road and starting to drive.
"Oh yes please I've been craving pizza all week." My mouth watered just by thinking about pizza.

We arrived at the pizza parlour and walked up to the counter. "Take away?" Michael asked and I nodded. "BBQ meat lovers?" I nodded again smiling at the fact he already knows my favourite pizza. He walked up to the tall red haired girl and smiled "Hi I'll have on large BBQ meat lovers and a large plain cheese please." He payed for the pizza and we took a seat to wait for the food. "So how are you feeling you know having a baby inside you?" Michael randomly asked.

I chuckled and looked at the boy. "Feeling pretty good but also extremely tired." As if on cue I let out a giant yawn.

"How bout we take the pizzas back to mine and we can watch some movies and eat ice cream.

"Sounds amazing" I smiled at the adorable boy sitting across from me.

"Michael Clifford fancy seeing you here" I looked up to see a tall boy with blondish hair standing in front of us.
