Eren x Reader (Oneshot)

-WARNING-
(This is a lemon. Intended for a mature audience. You have been warned.)

It was mid-winter, the best time of the year. You loved the cold, it was satisfying sweater weather. You especially loved when it snowed, the beautiful white delicacies of ice falling from the sky in numbers. You would give anything to be at home, warm and cozy by the fire, drinking a hot cup of cocoa while reading a book with your family; but you had a job to do. You had to do nightly rounds around the wall.

You had joined the scout regiment when you were fairly young, learning the ways of the soldiers as they slayed the titans skillfully while flying gracefully with their 3DMG. It was rather magical to watch, but even better to do it yourself.

You lived in the Shiganshina district, so as fate foretold itself, the titans breached wall Maria, flooding your childhood streets with the beasts of unknown origins. You watched in horror as your parents sacrificed their lives for you, distracting the beasts as you fled the city along with other civilians to the inner wall.

There, you promised you'd find your parents, no matter how long it took, yet, you never saw them again. Not knowing their fate really pulled at your heart, and it made you angry.

You stomped around the wall, occasionally looking over the edge towards the darkness below. Knowing that there really were monsters down there gave you the creeps, sending a deadly shiver down your spine.

You had seen too many of your comrades being eaten already, and there was never time to despair. Life goes on, and more lives are lost to the titans.

You shivered slightly at the cold air, sneezing a bit as the small orbs of ice fell slowly over the land. Looking down at your feet, you realized just how full of ice the wall had become, your ankles buried in white.

Rubbing your hands together, you kept walking, letting the breeze blow through your hair and listening to the crunch of your footsteps. The 3DMG on your thighs made little sound as you keep guard. Ever since the second breach of the wall 5 years after the first one, no one wanted to take anymore chances, and these patrols were now necessary. It was going to be a long 4 hours...

---------------

"O-O-Okay s-screw th-this." You grumbled, shivering. The snow began to fall heavily, pelting you with skin biting cold. You grabbed your twin swords in hand, attaching the hooks of the 3DMG to the wall, lowering yourself to ground level. The area near the wall was purely open space, so there was no way you could use your 3DMG.

Thrusting the swords back into their place, you began to lightly jog, your freezing muscles cramping. Up ahead you spotted a small cottage, light was showing through the windows and smoke was coming out of the chimney. Silently thanking god, you rushed over to the door as your face numbed, knocking on the door like you were dying. But lets face it, you pretty much were.

"H-Hello? Hey! Open up, p-p-please!" You called out. No answer. "Th-There is n-n-no way I'm st-staying out here." You grumbled, jiggling the doorknob with your shaky, frozen hands. You couldn't just break the door down, that would be rude. In the end, you began kicking the door until the latch broke off, the door swinging open, hitting the wall and slowly coming back towards you with a loud creak.

"I-Im c-coming in." You said almost yourself. You shut the door behind you, barely able to feel the doorknob in your hand. The room was silent, nothing but the howl of the wind from outside was heard. A fire was brewing in the fireplace, warming the rug and leather chairs around it, and lanterns hung from random places. Timidly, you looked around, walking towards the beckoning flames.
