Epilogue

5 years had past since the battle in hell. Everyone had missed Lucy dearly and it was hard from them to continue for a few months, but as time went on people were able to eventually go back to normal but nothing was ever the same. Slowly everyone was able to move past it, continue with their lives, everyone except Natsu, everyday he would go to Lucy's apartment with Happy, he wasn't as loud as he was before, never shouting or making a fuss, he always went on solo missions and never fought with Grey anymore, everyone tried to help him but he would just ignore them and go on another job. Mira would watch him from afar with the Master, both of them feeling their hearts break as Natsu again took another mission right after coming back.

Natsu had started to get better, becoming a bit more outgoing, bickering with Gray so often, even going on missions with Gray and Erza, almost back to normal but it was reaching the anniversary of when Lucy disappeared, everyone knew. Natsu had been moody lately not wanting to see anyone and everyone made sure they avoided him during this time. Natsu had been sitting in the place which used to be Lucy's favourite stool.

"Natsu, is there anything you want to eat?" Mira turned around and asked the Dragon Slayer, Natsu shook his head just staring at some fire in his hand.

"I'm good, I'm not hungry" Mira sighed, Natsu hadn't eaten something from her for ages. Mira sighed as she watched Natsu chat with Happy. She turned to start talking with Erza when there was a strong gust of wind going through the guild everyone on edge as there was a sense of dark magic filling the space. Everyone including Natsu were quick to stand up, ready for whatever was about to come with them. Erza spoke loudly.

"Show yourself" at that moment a portal opened up in the middle of the room making everyone stumble backwards and suddenly two people came jumping out of the portal. Natsu tried to smell them but there was too many scents in the room he couldn't make it out. The first girl turned to the other smiling.

"Alright, good luck, you're lucky your dad allowed you to come back here" the other girl giggled nervously.

"Yeah, let me.." the other girl shook her head letting out a laugh

"Wait, so your telling me your dad is going to come and look for you?" the other girl looked thoughtful, tapping her chin.

"Well, if he is able to get out of his chains down in the dungeon, and then get past my brother who honestly, everyone loves him way more then our dad then sure, he can come looking for me!" the girl laughed before giving her a hug.

"Alright, this is goodbye I guess, I'll make sure to visit often I promise, I'll bring your brother too alright." the girl nodded hugging her back tightly. 

"Good you better, I wish you luck with my brother!" the girl bowed to her before stepping into the portal waving.

"Good bye" and she went back through the portal, Grey stepped forward.
"Answer, who are you?" the girl just smiled.

"You guys still don't remember me, you know Lucillia Darkheart or otherwise known as Lucy Heartfilia, ring any bells" some people looked confused while others teared up at the mention of the name, Natsu stepped forward, he felt his hands shaking.

"Luce, is that you?" the girl stepped forward revealing an older version of the 16 year old Lucy they once knew, she had blue eyes, pure blue eyes and a smile that lit up the whole room, she was wearing a mid-drift top with a mini skirt, she bowed to everyone.

"Hello, I am Lucillia Darkheart or otherwise known as, Lucy Heartfilia" she smiled and waved, everyone stood their shocked, their Lucy, the Lucy from hell. She came back to them, even after they betrayed her and locked away in the depths of hell, she still came back! Everyone was crying, Levy had grabbed onto Gajeel from feeling weak as she covered her mouth. Happy was shouting and crying in joy, Mira crying as well and Erza was standing there stunned. Suddenly Natsu ran up to Lucy and hugged her, she smiled and hugged him back and whispered

"I really missed you Natsu" Natsu was sobbing into her shoulder.

"Luce, I missed you, I really missed you" Lucy felt tears run down her face, she smiled and ran her fingers through his hair.

"I told you we would meet again" suddenly Natsu reached up to Lucy and said

"I love you Luce, I really do" he reached in and kissed her on the lips, she smiled and kissed him back, everyone was too happy to care except for Mira who was crying anime tears while spamming photos of them together, Natsu pulled back and rested his fore head against Lucy's.

"Never do that to me again" Lucy smiled and said

"I promise, I will never leave you, ever" everyone smiled and ran up to the cute couple and hugged them, crying tears of happiness. Natsu had his head in Lucy's hair as he smiles to himself. She really was the one he was gonna spend his whole life with.

Hey guys! I hope you enjoyed this book because I had heaps of fun writing it. I know if you have read this before the ending was slightly different.
I changed it because it originally ended of a cliffhanger of sorts and I had started writing another book called She's Mine but I ended up deleting it and because of that the cliffhanger didn't make any sense so I changed it. But besides that thanks so much for reading
