"DUDE WE HAVE TO JUMP NOW!!!".This was it. I was finally gonna escape. I nervously looked down at the ground as the train slowed down at the station. I was not going to prison.!I guess you could say my fight or flight instinct kicked in and 'I CHOSE FLIGHT'. John and I leaped off the train cart and as I expected to land on the dirty desert soil... I woke up sweating in a panic. It was another bad dream. I slumped back into my pillow and checked my phone, seeing that I had a bunch of messages from Michael. 'Hey getting ready to leave now'. *sigh* "Guess that's my wake up call".

We were taking a trip to Buenos Aires. 'Out of all the places, it had to that god forsaken city'. The city that changed my whole life... "You might be wondering why on earth was I going then!". 'The reason why was because there was this one girl out of our group of friends that was going'. Her name was Amelia. She was pretty, smart, humorous, and I felt like this trip would bring us together. But it only tore us apart... I crammed all my clothes that I would need for the week into my suitcase. Rushed around the apartment, showered, changed and left to JFK airport.

I was the last to arrive at the airport, since everyone was smart enough to avoid traffic and leave an hour early.

It was a party of six including Me, Michael and his girlfriend Jennifer, Daniel, James and Amelia. We were all very enthusiastic about the holiday. "Ladies and gentlemen American Airlines flight 995 to Buenos Aires is ready for boarding" echoed through the terminal as I clenched my ears. We boarded first and sat down. I swapped seats with Jennifer so I could sit with Amelia and she could sit with Michael and everyone was settled for the soul crushing 10 hour flight ahead of us. Amelia and I talked, laughed and flicked peanuts at the sleeping bald guy sitting a few rows up.

Even though it was a fun trip (or so I thought) I still wish I never left that morning to the airport. Or got on that plane. Or even before that where all hell broke loose.
