"Okay let them in"
Mariing sabi ko sa butler ko. Aigoo , why is it their son cannot be here?
"Shiela! Kris! Welcome!"
Pormal na pagbati ko
"Please do sit "
Umupo naman sila sa katapat na sofa where my daughter Caramel seated.
"Aunt Shiela? Uncle Kris? "
Sabay beso-beso ng anak ko.
"Kamusta po kayo?"
Tanong ng anak ko .
"We're very fine hija" sabi ni shiela at di umimik si Kris , whew tong' taong to literally a man of few words. . .
"Dad why is it that Aunt and Uncle have visited? I mean, no offense to you Aunt and Uncle." Taong ng anak ko at nag nod lang sina Kris at Shiela.
"You didn't tell her did you? "
Taong ni shiela sakin
"No, I haven't that is why we are here now? Right?"
Sagot ko kay Shiela sabay tingin rin ni Kris
"I hope everything goes well Suho"
Sabi ni Kris sakin na parang may duda.
"Dad, tell me what?"
Sabay tanong ng anak ko.
"Okay, Caramel, sweetheart, relax"
Pagpapakalma ko sa anak ko na tense na tense na at curious kung anong sasabihin namin tatlo nina Shiela at Kris.
"Dad, I will not be relaxed until you tell me what it is!"
Banta ng anak ko
"Okay here it is, me, your mommy, your uncle, and your aunt have decided years ago that you and their son will be married in the right time so, your on your legal age now, so you now know that~
At di na ako nakatapos sa aking dapat sasabihin.
"WHAT?! DAD, YOUR KIDDING ME RIGHT?! Aunt Shiela? Uncle Kris? Somebody tell me this is all a joke!"
Sigaw ng anak ko sabay tayo. Naku! This isn't what's supposed to be happening right now.
"Dear, that's all true" sabi ni Shiela at tumayo si Kris at nag-open arms at nag sabing . . . .
"Welcome to the family, daughter-in-law!"
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Galit na sigaw ng anak kong si Caramel. And Kris put down his arms at umupo na lamang ulit at tinanong ang maganda niyang asawa na. . .
"What did I do wrong?"
"Yeobo, you did nothing wrong"
Sagot ni Shiela sa kanyang asawa.
"Caramel! Please sit down and talk to me? To us?"
Sabi ko
"whew okay, I'll sit,"
At umupo naman ang anak ko, tapos nagsalita.
"You know that I love you Aunt, Uncle and you Dad. But I have to say what's on my mind. I really hate people not telling me the truth! I just can't believe na sa lahat-lahat ng tao, kayo pa! KAYO! Would hurt me. What if I don't like hm? I mean no offense to you Aunt, Uncle. NO! Whats worse is we might just be forced to like and love each other! So that's not a TRUE marriage!"
Explain ng anak ko sa amin.
"Time has its magical ways, sweetheart"
Saad ko kay caramel
"NO! And know this dad, no wedding nor engagement party or what-so-ever is ever going to happen. I'm sorry."
At nag walk-out ang anak ko.
NO! THIS CAN'T BE!
"NO CARAMEL BLANCHE BREWBERRY! EVERYTHING WILL TAKE PLACE!"
Sigaw ko sa anak ko na umaakyat patungo sa kwarto niya..
"I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU!"
Sagot ng anak ko without even trying to look at me, she just ran towards her room upstairs. Akala ko this would all be easy but dammit my daughter's upset of me because of this! But I'm a man of my words, I cant break it. Anyway's I have signed something that has to deal with this.
"Damn! Damn! Damn it all!"
Sigaw ko, nakalimutan ko palang may bisita pa ako . .
"Dude, let her sink in all of these first, okay? And let's relax. Alright?"
Mahinhin na payo ni Kris sakin
"Excuse me for a moment, I need to call my wife. I'll be right back"
At last na contact ko na rin ang asawa ko na si Gu Hye Sun
"Yeobo, I need your hel~"
Pinutol ba naman agad ago habang ako pa'y nagsasalita?
"Yeobo, why didn't you just wait for me to come? To break the news to her? Hmmm?"
Malamang na tawagan na toh' ni Caramel kaya to nalaman.
"Yeobo I'm asking for your help, here, okay? So I broke the news to her earlier because I got here first? At ikaw your still at the states! You're so stubborn!"
"Che! Don't you know you are also stubborn?"
Palusot motion na lang ako rito para di ko nato ma-away to or para di nalang tung usapan to' maging away. . .
"I know right that's why I married you!"
Pabagsak ko na sagot.
"Can't you just say the word please?"
Why the heck is my wife teasing me? Like, seriously?!
Ayyy, naku po I cant believe I'm doing this!
"Okay, PLEASEEEEEEEEE?"
Prino-long ko talaga at enunciate yung please.
"Okay I'll book my flight na. We'll see to it together okay yeobo? Bye."
Ayy di man lang nag I love you sakin? AIGOOOOO! THAT WASN'T SO LIKE ME! Bakit na under-the-saya ako kanina ng misis ko? AISSSSSSSSSSSHH!
Binalikan ko ang mga bisita ko..
"So, ano na? Tuloy ba ang kasalan? At magkaka-apo ako? O maghahanap na lamang ako ng iba? Honey, Kris dba? Pwede naman si Nelsy.."
