{2} Pills and Beer

RICHIES POV  (7:00am)
I woke up to the harsh sounds of bottles being broken and screaming. This was only the fifth time I had woken up to screaming. Surprisingly.

I took a deep breath, got up and walked to the shower. "Richieeee..." "Yes mom..?" She was drunk. Not surprising. "Would you be a dear and grab me another beer?" I sighed knowing one day I'll hand her another bottle and she'll be dead by afternoon.

"Mom how many have you had this morning?" "Only three." Only three, she acts liked it's nothing. She acts like her liver isn't failing, and dads not beating us. "Can I shower first? Then I'll grab you two," "that works."

I know what I'm doing. I know what I'm getting her into, I know what's I'm getting myself into too. I don't think Ill be coming home this afternoon.
Eddies POV (7:30am)
Todays gonna suck I thought to myself. First day of 11th grade. "Eddie-Bear!" I rolled my eyes, I knew what she was going to say Time to take your pills, or you're sick! Maybe even These will help you. "Coming momma!"

5 TOP rules when living with my mom:
1: address her by either mom, momma or ma'am
2: Take your pills at 7:45, 1:30, and 6:30
3: Kiss her on the forehead every time you leave and come back
4: Be home by 6:00
5: Always listen to her no matter what. And never disobey

"Eddie bear it's time to take your pills." "Yes momma," I say as I grab the pills. I down each one easily, first pink, then blue, then yellow, then green, then gray, and finally red.

I have no clue what any of them do. But I obey her none the less. At one point I trusted her, but that's when I was only taking two pills sometimes three.

(AU, I know it's short but I hope you enjoy the first chapter. Will probably update a lot today since I have nothing better to do and it's a Sunday so I have a lot of free time. 😊)
