Uncanny

summary

Twenty years ago the war started between the normal human and the uncanny. We all have special gifts which makes the normal humans jealous of us and started the war. Thats why we had to move into a cave, the cave i call home. Most of the uncanny hate living in the cave but i dont, I think it's keeping us safe especially me. Unlike the other uncanny i have more than one gift. I can see the invisible, hear peoples thoughts, run like the wind in a storm and heal.

These gifts makes it dangerous to live outside of the cave and even inside the cave sometimes. If the leaders and normal humans find out that i have more than one gift they will use my powers and kill me afterwards. Thankfully i have amazing parents who protect me, but even they don't know that i can do more than they think.

I had to choose one gift to go with, otherwise i wasn't even allowed to live in the cave.

When i was six years old the leaders of the uncanny almost caught me. I was lucky to have my best friend with me, he took the blame. Sadly he went missing six years ago, and we still don't know what happend to him, but someone has to know something! So i told his parents that i will find him.
