Alliah picked up her backpack and walked out the door. Elle hadn't been home in a couple of days, Alliah was heading out to find her. Sierra knew where she was, but wouldn't tell anyone. She knew how Elle wanted to be left alone. Besides, she was 17, she could handle the world on her own.
Raillery and Alex were also oblivious to Elle's location. They didn't want to bother her, but at the same time just wanted to know she was safe. Raillery turned on the car and rolled down the windows. She admired the way the wind hit her face, making her hair fly in all crazy directions. Alex turned on the radio and began to hum the tune to the song Can't help falling in love. Raillery laughed at Alex when she hit a wrong note. Alliah got up from her spot on the steps when she saw her friends pull up.
"Hey, girls," She said closing the backseat door, "Thanks for helping me find Elle. She couldn't have gone far, but still, we should know where she is." Alex sighed "Yeah, but she needs to realize we are all just trying to be friends. She doesn't understand it like she thinks she does." Alliah sighed "I just need to know where she is. I'm starting to get worried about her. What if she went missing?" Raillery laughed "She didn't. Just try not to think about it too much, it'll make it worse."
Raillery drove them to the hotel that was by the store. "We can set up here, then we can go get us some food from the store. We already agreed that we would take turns paying for the night. So each night you have to pay, write it down so we can know exactly how much." Alex and Alliah nodded.
The girls walked into the hotel. But Alex and Raillery walked right back out. "Why did you walk out?" Alliah asked following them. "That receptionist is the same lady that killed Cassidy." Alex choked on tears. It wasn't long before Raillery began to cry too. The girls hugged as they remembered their friend.
Alliah sighed "Come on, I'll handle her." she dragged the two into the building. "Hello, I would like a room with three single beds." "Why three?" she asked, not noticing the sobbing friends. "I want one to be lazy in, one to sleep in, and one to eat in." the lady rolled her eyes. "Here's the card, just charge it by day. Not all at once, thanks," she said with a snarky tone. "Okay fine. Here it is. Your room is 303 on the third floor."
The girls snuck past the lady and followed Alliah up. "Thanks, but now you have to pay for all of the days." Alliah shrugged "That's fine. You helped me, I'll help you."
Alliah put the key card into the door. It made a small beeping sound followed by the door unlocking. Raillery and Alex carried the bags into the room and set them on the bed. "Thanks again Alliah," Alex said "No problem."
