It was a cold day in mid-November, a year ago, when everything changed. Kim Yongsun had led a carefree school life until then, almost actually enjoying school, much different from her peers of course. But on that day, Yong's school-life dynamic changed. For on that mid-November day, a new student, Moon Byul Yi, had joined her class.
It had been a year now. And Yongsun had seen all she needed to see over these 12 months to make her completely dislike Moonbyul. At first Yong hadn't really cared much about Byul's presence, she even tried to ignore it, not wanting to disrupt the peace she had at school, but it got to be too hard. What, with everyone practically drooling over the younger when she walked by? And Byul knew what she did to people, she liked it, she was honestly such a narcissist. It was as if they would do whatever Byul asked them too, and truly, some of them would. Yong thought it was absolutely disgusting. Everyone was obsessed with Moonbyul, girls and boys alike, and her flirtatious personality didn't help the situation at all. She just hated how Moonbyul was liked by everyone, all she did was flirt with everyone. She would get with someone, and be with someone else by the next week. Ridiculous. And Byul didn't even care about them. Honestly, they didn't seem to care about what she did either. Everyone always came back to her in the end. Yongsun did not understand. She tried her best to keep her distance from Moonbyul, seemingly one of the only ones not affected by her, and it only half worked out.
Yongsun didn't like Moonbyul at all. She would go so far as to say she hated her. She hated how she lead everyone on. She hated how she thought everything revolved around her. She hated how she thought everyone just had to like her. She hated how everyone actually did seem to like her. But most of all, Yongsun hated that Moonbyul seemed to be utterly infatuated with her.
