Chapter 13

Marve dragged Katy all the way to the kitchen. While he was dragging her , she even hit her shoulder on the wall really badly.

"Marve .. please Im sorry... I promise I will do as you say". Cried Katy.

"Shut up !!". Shouted Marve.

Once they get to the kitchen , Marve turned on the stove.

Then Marve looked at me.

"So now you're going to call boys huh ??". He said while coming closer.

"N..no .. Marve I'm really sorry , I won't do this again , I'm sorry". Cried Katy.

"LIARRRR!!!!". Shouted Marve.

He grabbed Katy's hand and forcefully pulled her towards the stove. Marve then took his hand and put in on the stove. It started burning.

"Ahhh Marve... Marve It's paining .... Marve , Please I'm sorry... I'm sorry". Katy started crying.

"I'll make you suffer". He said.

Few seconds later , Marve removed her hand from the stove and pushed her. Katy fell on the floor. Marve left the kitchen and went in his room.

Katy , who was lying on the floor, stood up and looked at her hand. It was badly burned. Tears were streaming down her cheeks. She was crying uncontrollably.

"What did I ever do to him to suffer like this ? Ryan ? He is just my friend ... He never touched me in a bad sense". Katy thought.

She opened the tap and started washing her hand. She whizzed in pain. Then she applied some medicine on it and put a bandage on it.

Then she changed her clothes and went to sleep.

In the morning...

Katy woke up and took a nice warm bath. Then she treated her hand. She again applied the medicine and put a new bandage.

She wore her casual clothes. Applied a little bit of makeup and left the house after making breakfast for Marve and put it in the microwave.

She went to the library and saw Ryan sitting. Ryan also comes to the same Library. But his and Katy's timings are different as Ryan goes to the university.

This is the third time Katy saw Ryan. Otherwise Katy's timings are 12:30 am to 2:00 pm while Ryan likes to come to the library after 5 pm. But they both do meet each other at the bus stop daily.

And yes ! He didn't followed Katy. He also loves to read books.

Ryan waved Katy and gestured her to join him. Katy was scared. But still she went to sit with him.

She was very quiet. She kept on reading her book. Ryan was observing her and out of the blue he asked....

"What happened to your hand ?". He asked.

Katy looked at Ryan.

"Nothing .. I just burned myself while cooking". Replied Katy.

"It was not there before ?". Ryan asked.

"After you leave , I was cooking and suddenly my hand touched the fire and it burned badly thats it". Replied Katy.

"Oh I see.. So do you want to goto the doctor , I can take you if you want". Asked Ryan.

"No... I'm fine. Anyways , Are you not going to your university these days ?". Katy asked.

"No .. Actually Liam is not feeling well so he is not coming to university. And I'm bored without him". Replied Ryan.
