Silvis: Come on, Yatvi! You're dragging behind.
Yatvi: *tangled in the tree vines*
I have reasons to my 'dragging behind,' sister. *straining noises*
This cruel beast had taken me prisoner-- unh --while you continue to press on without me!
Silvis: *scoffs and goes back*
Come on, girl. You're slowing us down.
*pulls the vines off of her sister with little effort*
Yatvi: *scoffs as well*
Well, I WOULD say thank you.
*dusts herself off and slips her satchel back onto her shoulder*
Silvis: Pfft, no wonder the folks told me to make sure ya don't turn into a nerd. You're not even used to bein' in the backyard yet!
*intentionally fluffs her three tails in Yatvi's face, laughing slightly*
Yatvi: Ugh! *spits out a mouthful of Silvis's fur*
For starters, I believe the term is "bookworm."
Silvis: Yea, whatever. *smirks*
Yatvi: Also, if memory serves me correctly, mother and father told me to watch over YOU, older sibling or not, because they knew how you had a tendency to land yourself in trouble.
Silvis: *gets in Yatvi's face*
Yea, well now I got YOU in it too!
Hahahahaha!
Yatvi: *rolls eyes* Unfortunately.
Silvis: *messes up Yatvi's hair*
Tell ya what, let's take a break, nerdy. *snickers* I know this isn't your library, so ya must be tired.
Yatvi: *huffs* Very well.
Silvis performs a backflip and lands in a sitting position on a high tree branch.
Yatvi: (Hmph, nobody likes arrogance.)
Yatvi slumps into a sitting position under a tree. She then flips open her satchel and takes out a small notebook, beginning to write inside with her beloved violet fountain pen.
(Day 1. Early morning.
Dragged from my home in the middle of night.
What hath my sister gotten me into?
Stealing me from the place where my heart resides,
Ridiculing what I cherish.
Ever since the dawn of pain in my time,
Every word took my breath away.
But now, where is this place?
Where I have been dragged from the rest of life's treasures.
A wasteland, my shallow grave.
My nightmare come true.
I must carry on,
As to become a stranger to my home.
Or at least to survive,
To trek into fate itself.
For what hath my sister tried to accomplish?
Doth mercy reach her soul at all?
Heal her for my sake,
Else I become victim to her insane ways.
Save me from this travesty.
Help...
Help......)
Yatvi: *sighs, closing her book*
Silvis: *glances in Yatvi's direction*
Tired, kid?
Yatvi: *puts her things away* No, it is just-... great merciful Jodezz...
Silvis: Jodezz? What's religion gotta do with this?
Yatvi: S... Sister... it may bring answer to your question... if you were to turn around... *points just over Silvis's shoulder*
Silvis: Wait what? *glances over her shoulder*
Oh, hey. A dead dude. *has no real concern in her voice*
Yatvi: D-... DEAD?!
Silvis: Yup. S'what it looks like.
Yatvi: *panicking and panting hard*
Silvis, do you not REALIZE what you've gotten us into?!?
Silvis: *relaxed voice* What?
Yatvi: You've dug our graves, sister!
Nobody escapes this forest alone, and that poor lost soul over there is PROOF!
We are hopelessly lost, we are going to die, and nobody shall remember us or- *interrupted*
Silvis: SIS! *takes Yatvi by the shoulders*
Calm down! You're about to have a heart attack, and you're way too young for that!
Yatvi: But... But-!
Silvis: No! No. Just calm down.
Take a deep breath in, *demonstrates by inhaling* and then, let it out. *exhales*
Yatvi: *imitates Silvis*
(Deep breath in... and then out...)
*repeats this a few times*
Silvis: Good. Ya calm now?
Yatvi: *nods slowly*
Silvis: Alrighty. *lets go of Yatvi's shoulders and strokes her head*
Now listen closely. We will make it outta this alive. I knew what I was doing, and I wanted to give you a little adventure.
Yatvi: Ad... venture?
Silvis: Yea. You'd always read about old trophies and ancient relics and stuff, so-
Yatvi: You wish to surprise me by aiding me in finding one of the rumored artifacts, rather than simply reading on them and taking satisfaction in never holding one in my own pair of hands?
Silvis: *hard nod* Exactly. I think. *shrug*
Now, let's get goin', kid!
Yatvi: W-Wait... I wish to take a closer look at the lifeless body bound up in the vines. Please, sister.
I must know, so I may send prayer to Jodezz to give the victim a joyful afterlife.
Silvis: Eh, sure. C'mon. *turns and begins walking in the direction of the vine-trapped body*
Yatvi: *follows her sister, closing up her satchel and fixing her clothes*
Silvis: Dang. Looks like he's been here a while.
Yatvi: Hm? *looks up slightly*
Oh... by Jodezz's cape...
*horrified*
Silvis: What?
Yatvi: This is not just any victim...
Raven Flare... the elder brother of the legendary Nova Flare...
Silvis: Who?
Yatvi: Raven! The evil elder brother of Nova, who mercilessly slaughtered their adoptive parents, as well as a collection of their friends, all as a harsh attempt to turn Nova's mind to think the same insane sociopathic thoughts that he himself had?
Silvis: Dang, I must not read much. *picking at some of the leaves, nuts and dried up berries in Raven's hair*
Ooh! Hazelnut. *eats it*
Yatvi: ... Ew. Sister?... That is horrifically disgusting.
Silvis: Nah. Hazelnuts are goooood.
*picks out another and eats it*
Yatvi: Ew! Alright, I MUST stop watching you.
Back to Raven...
*begins using her powers to melt the vines off of Raven*
What is he doing out here? And in THIS condition?
*Raven begins to unintentionally absorb some of the power Yatvi is using, and his heart begins to beat slowly.*
Yatvi: *notices a collection of cuts and bruises on Raven*
(... Ugh. Old blood... Sister, won't you stop eating out of his fur?... I'm no longer honestly surprised that mother and father placed ME in charge of you before they... left...)
Silvis: Ok, enough snacking. Haha!
*stands up straight, puts one of her tails on Raven's chest and presses down slightly* ...! He's still breathing.
Let's get him home. NOW.
Yatvi: Alright. (Ugh, I may end up washing my eyes out TWICE in order to un-witness what I just witnessed...)
Silvis: *grabs Raven by the arms and lifts him slightly*
Yatvi: *lifts Raven by the legs*
So, the two sisters, Yatvi and Silvis now begin to drag the unconscious Raven Flare home. But what is to become of this nearly deceased psychopath?...
