(This is for all genders! Have fun!)

(Y/N) was a good person. They never did anything wrong in their mind. Sure, they were the most powerful crime enforcer, but they never killed anyone. Not themselves at least. They gave orders on what needed to be done, but that was needed to run a 'well meaning business'. Of course, they did have their ex-boyfriend assassinated, but that wasn't on their hands after the order. They also controlled the drug haul, but that was too keep people from dying every second from them. It's bad for good. They even controlled the black market for hospitals and charities. It was quite fun.

But guess what happened.

They were just walking down the street, minding their own business, when they got a bullet through the head. Now mind you, this was 2019 we're talking about, so everyone knew what happened in five minutes, flat. But (Y/N) didn't know for quite a bit.

They woke up, in a dark hotel room, fire and screams outside their window. They were really confused until they looked at themself. They saw they had clawed hands and aqua skin. They rushed to the bathroom and looked in the mirror before screaming. What the hell were they?

They still looked humanoid enough. They had aqua skin and long, sharp claws. Their hair looked to be dark seaweed that was in a mess. They had on the clothes they died in, of course, which made their bright yellow eyes and teeth pop even more than they already were. They had scaly skin and what looked to be gills behind their cheeks. They looked down to see that their legs ended in a point and they were more floating than anything.

Of course, understandably, they began to hyperventilate. What the fuck was going on? They didn't know what to do.

They heard a knock and the hotel door opening, which they could see clearly once they looked over. "Hello?" They heard, seeing a white hand wrap around the side of the door. The person stepped out to reveal a woman?

She looked like a porcelain doll with a cat like, button nose. She had long, wavy, blonde hair and big eyes, pink circles under them. She was wearing a suit, minus the jacket, with the sleeves rolled up to her elbows.

She looked over and (Y/N) began to hyperventilate even more, trying not to scream. The woman held her hands up in peace, a friendly smile on her face.

"Hi, I'm Charlie, the owner of this hotel. I'm so sorry to tell you this, but you're currently a demon residing in Hell." She informed, stepping closer.

(Y/N) stopped, letting all of this sink in. Hell? Hell! They were in H-E-double hockey sticks? And this doll girl was just talking to them like they would a friend? Well, not really... But still!

Charlie started to motion her hands slowly, as if to say 'breath'. Surprisingly, (Y/N) did exactly that, calming down just a little. They slowly sat on the ground, Charlie kneeling in front of them.

"I know this is a lot to process, but I'm here to help." She said, smiling.

"Why am I here?" (Y/N) asked, starting to tear up. "I thought I was a good person. Yeah I did bad things, but they were for good causes." They said, wiping a stray tear away. Charlie shook her head, softly.

"Well, it seems Heaven didn't agree with you. But as long as you're here, no one can hurt you. I promise." Charlie said, standing and holding a hand out to the confused demon. (Y/N) took her hand and let her stand them up. She slowly pulled them out of the hotel room and into the hall, bringing them down the stairs.

"Well, this is the Hazbin Hotel. It's a hotel that I hope will rehabilitate sinners. So far we only have one client, but he's made some progress. Of course, these things take time. But I'm sure it will work. As I've already said, I'm Charlie, the owner of this hotel, but I'm also the princess of Hell. I wouldn't recommend going outside until you're ready. But it's really your choice. I'll give you two free days here, but after that you can either face the rest of Hell, or I can offer you a job here. It'll be a small job here, but your payment will be everything we do for our clients here, which includes a roof over their heads. You'll be the only employee held to these standards for now, but we hope to get more. We also hope for more clients. Here's to hoping. Oh, and this is our main lobby." Charlie ranted before they got to the main room.
