How did all of this start to begin with? The very moment she caught the boy from tripping? When she found out they were in the same class together? When he comforted her after her battle with Bakugo Katsuki? Maybe when she noticed how strong he was getting? Or...was this destined? Was this bound to happen to her? No.. This must have been some kind of mistake, right..?

Ochaco's day was just like any other day. She gets up, does her morning routine, and heads for UA High to start another day of becoming a hero. She waves and smiles at the usual familiar crowd of acquaintances and classmates. Especially the one classmate who makes her float without having to use her quirk. Of course she is thinking of Midoriya Izuku, the green haired and very modest boy, who she catches herself staring at for quite a worrisome time. She would eventually snap herself out of her trance when someone calls for her attention.

It felt like it was just going to be like any other day. Ochaco would focus in class, take down notes, her and her classmates would practice on their quirks, have lunch, back to lessons, then everyone is dismissed. But it seems today was not going to be one of those days because when Ochaco felt a tickle in her throat she went to cough but noticed something pink on her hand when she pulled back.

'A cherry petal? Where did this come from?' She figured it was best to ignore it and went back to jotting down notes before Mr. Aizawa went too far ahead for her to catch up. However another tickle in her throat, a bit stronger than the one before, caused her to have a small coughing fit which caught the attention of everyone in the class. All eyes were on the floating quirked student which made her flushed from embarrassment that she interrupted the class.

"Ochaco, is something the matter?" Asked the gruffness that was Mr. Aizawa's voice. Ochaco was completely embarrassed but nonetheless asked to be excused to the bathroom which now leads up to where she was running back to her classroom after learning that she was suffering with the Hanahaki Disease. By the time she got back class was already dismissed for lunch meaning Izuku was gone; probably left with Iida and Todoroki. Going into the class to grab her bag so she can go back to finding her classmate she noticed her bag along with her notebook was missing. 'Perhaps someone grabbed it for me and is waiting for me at the lunchroom.' The brunette decided to run off to the lunchroom but before she could even step out the door another violent coughing fit began as she covered her mouth and out came an abundant of cherry petals. Ochaco even dropped to her knees as the petals poured out and surrounded her. Her coughing came to a halt after a bit and she clutched her chest while catching her breath. She picked up as much of the petals she can and since there wasn't a garbage can closest to her she had no choice but to carry them with her until she can properly dispose of them.

The female student could have gone to the bathroom to throw them out but in her time of need she wasn't thinking properly as she was desperate to find Izuku as fast as possible. Darting down the hall she rushed down to the cafeteria as fast as she could but before she could make a turn for it she collided with another figure causing her to fall back and scattering the petals. Rubbing the back of her head she spilled out many apologies as she got up.

"Please forgive my clumsiness. I was in a rush to find someone and wasn't looking where I was going." When she looked to see who she bumped into, her world stopped turning. Midoriya Izuku.

🌸 Stage Two 🌸 ~Thorns~

There he was.. Standing right there in front of her with his usual smile that says to not worry. The smile that makes her heart race, that makes her feel like she is floating on air. The gazing girl was at a loss of words before the green haired boy called her name.
