Chapter 3

"Wha-what are you doing in my room?!" I looked around for anything I could use as a weapon and noticed Tubby was missing. 

"Where is my flying hamster?" He laughed though I didn't see the humor in the situation. 

"He's right here!" He motioned to himself. 

"Yeah right, and I turn into a Unicorn on the weekends." I replied sarcastically, he rolled his eyes. 

"I'm being serious, it's a long story and I'll tell you someday but right now I'm hungry and tired." I quickly hopped off my bed, 

"Well then lay down you poor thing!" I mocked pity. He ignored it and sat on my desk chair, 

"By the way, you can call me chess."                                                                                                                   

"Nice name."                                                                                                                                                                 

"Thank you."

I tried to cope with the fact that this man, er, Chess was claiming to be my favorite flying hamster. 

"I'm calling Ari." Chess nodded as I picked up my phone and dialed the number. 

"Hello?" 

"Hey um I have a situation, does our hamster turn into a man by any chance?" A long silence ensued and I glanced at Chess now lounging on my bed 

"Yeah..." Suddenly I heard Min and she took the phone. "

Isn't it crazy! It happens when we collect hopeful energy!" I paused not knowing what to say. Another voice came on, apparently it was Suha's turn to talk. 

"I know it sounds absolutely impossible but it's true." She lowered her voice to a whisper. 

"Isn't he cute?"

"Suha! Don't tell me you like this creep?" I whisper yelled. She chuckled softly, 

"It was just a question, see you tonight?" 

"Yeah I guess" I quickly hung up and looked over at Chess, he was sound asleep. I felt my face heat up as I looked over his features. I startled out of my trance and quickly turned off the light and headed out of the room.

"Stupid! No stupid romances for you." Yes, I was yelling at myself... In the mirror. I splashed cold water on my face and headed to the kitchen to make dinner. Fortunately my mom left me enough side dishes for a month. Just as I finished the doorbell rang. 

"Yeeun!" The three girls chorused as they stepped inside and ditched their shoes. 

"Where is he?" Ari asked anxiously. 

"In my room, sleeping." Her face flushed and I detected the slightest bit of jealousy. 

"What happened with Gichan?" I changed the subject quickly. 

"We dated." She began less enthusiastically that I had expected. 

"He broke it off today, said it was more of a summer thing." I grimaced and Suha breathed an 

"Oh." Min however looked... Happy?

I then heard a grumble from behind my door. I jumped at the sound and rushed to the bedroom. 

"Good morning." Chess said groggily as soon as I stepped inside. 

"Good evening." I corrected. He smiled, 

"Whatever." Was I imagining him shining his beautiful smile at me? 

Oof ok, this is long due. When I wrote it down on paper it seemed a lot longer.... Oh well. Hope you guys like it :3
