adam x nick [one shot]

Its the captain

Adams pov:

I stand up from the bleachers amd strech out my leg. I was waiting for my friend Fang to get done with her track practice so she could walk with me home. I sigh this practice is going on forever I look over at the football players who are also practicing on the field before walking down the bleachers and start making my way over to the water fountain. On my ways I hear some one yell "WATCH OUT MAN" then I feel someone topple over me. I land on my back with the person on top of me its one of the football players. I stare up at him still in a daze from hitting my head on the ground. He looks at me and stands up and puts his hand out "hey man im sorry my feet I guess just didn't feel like stopping" he laughs. I stifle a laugh and take his hand. As I stand up I get a better look at him, hes extremely good looking i feel my face turn red looking at him. I must have been looking for awhile because he says "you should take a picture they last longer" he laughs again. Oh god i didn't mean to stare "o-oh! Im sorry i didn't mean to" He shakes his head "its fine man, im nick whats your name?" I smile "my name is adam" nick looks like hes about to say somthing but someone calls him over. He says bye and runs over there, I shake my head and as I look back up i see fang walking over to me with a shit eating grin on her face. Fang walks up to me "you should have seen your face you were basically standing there witb your mouth open" fang teases me. I give her a playful shove "oh shut up, who is he anyways?". Fang thinks "all i know is that nick is the captain of the football team why you wanna stalk him or something?". I pinch the bridge of my nose "no i just want to know who he is". Fang giggles "maybe he'll be gay and end up dating you" my face goes red "come on lets just go home". Fang and I walk to our houses and say goodbye. I get into my sleep wear and go to bed.

-next day-

I wake up and rub my eyes I check my phone its a few minutes before my alarm. I grone lay in bed for a moment longer before swinging my legs off the side of my bed and get up. I get up and walk to my kitchen were fang is there sitting on my counter "whats up sleepy head" I roll my eyes "you know i can call the police on breaking and entering" fang pouts "you were the one who gave me the extra key" I just ignore her while i make some toast "why are you even up so early" fang hopped off the counter "I had trouble sleeping and i woke up and just stayed up. Anyways enough about me guess what tata knows nick they were old friends" I look at fang "and?" Fang smiles wide "tata made plans to catch up with him after school and you should go with tata and actually talk to him without him on top of you....unless its that kind of relationship" fang laughs. My eyes widen a bit "he probably wont even talk to me if Tata is there too" fang reassures me "yes he will plus tata will have an "emergency" and leave early" I think over the plan still unsure "are you sure it will work?" Fang nodds. I look at the time "Oh helll its late lets go!" We both grab our stuff and walk out the door.

-to the end of the school day-

Tata and I walk out and tata goes over the plan "ok well go get him from his class then hes gonna drive us there and you know the rest from there right?" I nodd. Tata smiles "good" we walk over to nicks class and wait by the door for him. The rest of the kids file out of the classroom before nick finally steps out. He looks over at us "oh hey noah! Hey....adam! Thats your name" I forgot tatas other friends call him noah. Me and tata wave to him, tata smiles "hey man, is it cool if adam comes with us?" Nick throws a thumbs up "yeah thats totally cool" all three of us walk out of the school and to nicks car. Tata makes me sit up front with nick since i have longer legs or well at least thats what he told nick. We sit in the car listening to nicks music which strangely enough he likes the same music as me but i dont say anything i just sway to the music. Nick turn down the volume "oh you like them?" I nodd "yeah this is my favorite song!" Tata pops his head up "this music is for the gays" nick laughs "well im in luck then! Plus your gay too" I do an internal happy dance when i figure out hes gay. I laugh "i guess im also in luck". Nick gives me a highfive "hell yeah! Only the cool gays listen to this". I laugh more "yeah!!" We get to the restaurant  its a simple fast food place nothing id expected less from tata. We all three walk inside and order our food and sit down with it. As we are talking tata looks at his phone "oh fuck! Hey guys i have to go i forgot i had to help my mom with the car. You guys can just continue chilling or whatever im just gonna walk home since its not to far" with that tata quickly walks off leaving me with nick. Nick looks at me "oh well then i guess thats normal for him anyways to run off we can still talk though you seem like a cool person i think we can be friends" I smile "but dont you already have plenty of friends?" Nick leans back in his chair "yeah i talk to them but there not really my friends we dont ever hang out so that means your special" My face turns red, im special to him? What does that mean? Oh calm down adam you just met him. I shake my head "your special to me too nick" I think i see nicks face tint with pink. We talk for a few hours and soon its time we head home. He drives me home and as were driving his hand is placed right on top of mine i dont think he evan noticed. We get to my house and i say goodbye to him. Nick says bye back "goodbye ill talk to you tomorrow".
