steely, emotionless eyes met his.

jimin sighed as he stared at his parents, grabbing his bag and suitcase.
"i'll be off." jimin said in a sharp voice before leaving the house, ignoring the furious protests from his parents.

the silver haired boy was reaching his second to last year of hogwarts, the only thing worse than home.

yes, he supposed that at first the school would be an escape from the abuse at home, but he didn't expect to be bullied.
jimin turned to self-harm and starving himself shortly after his first year of school, after being deemed a slytherin in which even his own house hated.

park jimin was aware that he was depressed, but he didn't care for it.

if nobody else cares, why should i?

jimin remembered what had happened at the end of his fifth year, after being beaten up by the popular and beautiful kim brothers (none of them were actually related though.)

jimin stopped to regain his breath, he realised he had been walking at an exhausting pace, too much for his fat body.
the small boy sighed loudly again because kings cross station was coming into view, and the only people inside that station seemed to despise him.

oh well.

jimin walked inside the station towards the wall between platform 9 and 10, his breath hitched and he pulled his trunk behind him, nearing the wall.
"well, fuck this." he murmured before stepping through the wall, smirking a little as the loud sounds around him died down, turning into judgemental murmurs.

"good fucking morning." jimin could only say loudly and sarcastically, receiving at least 50 glares.
jimin scoffed and headed towards the train, ignoring how everyone was staring at him in disgust.

"eurgh, it's that slytherin boy."

"he's a fag."

"isn't his sight revolting?"

however, jimin was almost immune to the laughter and comments that trailed him whilst he climbed into the train, heading towards the very back seat where nobody liked to go.
jimin made sure to quickly get there, brushing away the silver strands of hair that had fallen over his chocolate pools of eyes.

"good, it's empty."

was all jimin could mutter, heading towards a fairly comfortable seat whilst slamming the door shut.
he rested his head back when he sat down, yawning and fluttering his eyes shut, letting his usually tense facial features relax.

the train was his only escape,
the small gap between the two hells his life consisted of.
at one end was his parents, insulting his every move, throwing a punch or a slap to his face if he said something wrong, or something at all.
and the other end was hogwarts, filled with students who hated his existence, who ignored him, hurt him, insulted him.

hogwarts was a homophobic school, and that fact wasn't to be taken lightly.
and park jimin, who existed as a man dripping with homosexuality was not welcome there.
jimim let a frown reach his face, the memories of his first year ready to haunt him again.
well, his first year was the only year he considered good, until the day came that ripped his happiness to shreds.

jimin blinked and straightened himself up when he heard the trolly lady rambling on to some students about the food she was offering, she sounded close.
jimin had never brought something from her since his first ever ride to school, the event of his first year had greatly lessened his ability to want to eat.

eating is not good.

eating isn't good because you're fat.

jimin shook his pounding head, clutching the trunk he wasn't supposed to take into the compartment.
technically you weren't allowed to take a trunk into a the train, but jimin got the exception because if he didn't,
his trunk would be badly graffitied, and some of his items would be missing.

jimin remembered in his third year when a bully of his had found a lighter in his trunk, and then came the rumours that he self-harmed, which were true but still horrible to go through.
the amount of people that laughed whenever he accidentally hurt himself, saying "ha, is jimin self harming again?"

jimin jumped when the trolley lady knocked on the door to his compartment, jimin sighed and called
out,
"i'm okay, thanks!"
and then the trolley lady left.

jimin leaned against the seat and stared out of the window, watching the afternoon sun flicker through the greenery of england, trees rustling in a warning whilst grey clouds menacingly shut off the light from the sun.

the sky darkened as the first droplets of rain drizzled down the window, slowly becoming a heavy downpour that probably wouldn't go for a few hours,
there was a sudden knock on the door, along with laughter he recognised.

and hated.

jimin bit his bottom lip when the door slowly slid open, he quickly lay down and pretended to be sleeping.
"joonie, why did you take us all the way to the back of the train?" the unmistakable voice of seokjin whined, jimin groaned internally.
"babe, it's quieter down here. and it's nicer for us." replied namjoons deeper voice.

'babe'.. are they dating?

but how?

"shut the fuck up lovebirds, can you be quiet for one minute?" hissed a voice which jimin dreaded to hear at the start of each term, he tried to relax himself even when his hogwarts bullies entered the compartment.

"crap, someone's already here." sighed jin, poking his head over taehyungs shoulder, the gryffindor only shoved him away.
"get off me," taehyung growled, "i think i know who that is."
namjoon stepped in and let out a snigger of recognition, "fancy seeing park here, although he's asleep."
"well, we can always wake him up."
jimin could literally hear the smirk in taehyungs voice.

fuck this.

jimin sighed loudly and sat upright, glaring at the three boys in front of him whilst he rubbed his eyes.
"hey fatty." grinned taehyung, pointing his wand at jimin with an arrogant smile, "how was the holiday? you look.."
he felt taehyung analyse his body,
"chubby as fuck."

oh.

jimin let a smile pass his lips, although his eyes didn't quite match it.
"petrificus totalus." taehyung said lazily, waving his wand.
jimins legs and arms snapped to his side, he was used to this spell.

now they're going to beat me up whilst i can't move.

and they did just that, how predictable.

authors notes:

• if anyone's confused, petrificus totalus is a temporary body binding curse.

• also, i know j.k. rowling stated that hogwarts was a very accepting school, i just decided to change that for the storylines benefit.
