"Okay class this is your new student, y/n."
You bowed at the class.
"Hello I hope that you all will take care of me this year. I look forward to being in the same class!" You said with a smile.
Some kids ignored you and some looked at you weird.
Only one boy in the back with black hair clapped at you softly and smiled a bright beautiful smile.
"Let's see... oh you can go sit over in the back corner by the window. Taemin raise your hand!"
The lean black haired boy raised a hand slowly.
You walked over to the chair that was next to him.
"Hi I'm y/n. I hope we have a good year together as partners." You gave him a smile.
He smiled a cute smile at you and shook your hand.
"I'm Taemin. I also hope we have a good year together!"
After the first few clases which included math, literature, and English, class the bell rang for lunch.
"Uhm Taemin.. where do we eat lunch?" You asked.
You were a transfer student.
You had been living in America since your parents divorced when you used to live here in Korea. You moved with your mom to America. Suddenly grandma got sick so you both moved back in with her to take care of her. You didn't really know the customs so you felt awkward.
"Oh we can eat here in the classroom if you want. Hey Jonghyun!" Taemin waved at a blonde haired boy who was walking in the hallway with some lunch in hand.
He was lean and in a way tall. He had a nice jawline and cute big brown eyes.
"Ah Minnie!" He walked in pulling up a chair in front of the table where you both were sitting.
"Oh hello! Who are you? Taemin's girlfriend?" He laughed waving at you while flipping his hair out of his face.
Taemin choked on some rice he was eating and glared at Jonghyun.
"Oh uhm...no. I'm new. I just transferred here today from America. My name is y/n."
"Nice to meet you! Of course you're not Taemin's girlfriend! You're way too cute! And that's something because Taemin is very cute too!" He laughed nudging Taemin's shoulder.
You sat there and ate with the two best friends. It was enjoyable and fun.
The day had ended and you were looking for the shoe lockers. The school was pretty big so you forgot where they were.
"Y/n!" You heard a familiar voice calling you.
Turning you saw Jonghyun and Taemin running towards you.
"Let's all walk home together!" They said at the same time.
You laughed. "Okay!"
As you walked your stomach growled loudly.
Embarrassed you held your bag tightly on your stomach.
"Hahaha you hungry?" Taemin asked.
"Uhm well heh..."
"Hey let's go get some spicy rice cakes!" Jonghyun's eyes lit up full of hunger as he spoke.
"What's..that..." you asked quietly.
"You don't know what that is?!" They looked at you with wide open mouths.
You shook your head embarrassed.
"We gotta take her!" Taemin said taking your hand.
Jonghyun also took your hand.
All three of you ran together hand in hand to a little restaurant.
It smelled so good.
"Yum! I haven't eaten this in forver!!" Taemin said with a spark in his eyes.
You all walked in and sat at a table together.
You sat in between the two boys.
Jonghyun ended up ordering for you and Taemin since you hadn't ever been here and because Taemin couldn't make up his mind.
As soon as the bowls came into sight the two boys jumped with glee and hunger.
"Wow it looks so good." You said excited to try the new flavor.
You picked up your chopsticks and attempted to pick up a piece when it ended up just falling back into the bowl.
You forgot that the metal chopsticks were so much more slippery than the wooden ones you used back in America.
Taemin and Jonghyun looked at you confused.
They both each got a spoon quickly from next to them.
"Here!" They both said trying to hand you the spoons.
They looked at eachother narrowing their eyes.
Quickly they both scooped up some of the food into the spoon and tried to feed it to you.
"Yah! Minnie let me do it!" Jonghyun said annoyed.
"Nope I wanna do it dino face!" Taemin said pouting his lips.
"Uhm guys..." You began as you picked up your own spoon.
They turned red and looked down at their food placing the spoons back in their bowls.
You laughed a little.
"Yah what's so funny?" Jonghyun asked giggling a little also.
"Oh nothing..." you said eating your delicious bowl of spicy rice cake.
"Wow that was so good. Thank you guys for taking me here! I'll pay you back tomorrow!" You said to them.
They paid for you since you forgot your wallet at home on the first day of school.
"What nooo it's totally fine!" Jonghyun said waving his hands.
"Yeah we had fun! You paid us with fun!" Taemin smiled cutely.
"Let us walk you home," he continued.
"Oh no that's fine I can walk myself besides I live that way. I wouldn't want to make you guys walk so much!" You said starting to turn.
Jonghyun and Taemin ran to either side of you and held your hands.
"We live this way too!" Jonghyun said smiling at you sweetly.
You three walked home together hand in hand.
