Day 6: Fireworks Mean Romance?!

       "Oooh! This pastel green yukata would fit you, Tenko! This cream yellow one would fit me and this candy red one would be nice on you!" Angie squealed as they chose yukatas for the festival.

              "This was the one I was eyeing out! Amazing, Angie!" Tenko expressed as Himiko agreed.

"Yeah... What magic are you using?" Himiko asked.

              "Hehe, thanks you two! But it was all thanks to Atua! We would like these three yukatas please!" Angie requested as the employees brought them to the dressing room.

               The girls then picked hairstyles from a book full of different hairstyles. As the employees did their hair, Tenko asked, "Hey, Himiko... You like Kokichi, don't you?"

"Huh?! W-what makes you say that...? But he's okay, I guess..." Himiko blushed.

              "Hmm, not saying no or yes... But I see something in your eyes whenever you talk or even see him, there's a glimmer- no, there's a spark!" Tenko explained.

               "This is why me and Angie decided to leave you two alone. I told him to wait for you at the shrine on top of the hill." Tenko said.

               "Ehhh?! I-it's not like that! But to leave us alone... You told me that before this trip you wanted to explore the festival together... Are you sure you want to leave us alone?" Himiko asked in a concerned tone as Tenko laughed.

                "Well, of course I still want to go with you! But, this is the chance to tell you your true feelings!" Tenko's expression then became serious.

                "Despite everything he did to you, I think that Kokichi's the best man for you. After all, this is coming from your best friend! You and Kokichi changed a lot in a good way... I'm... I'm so happy for you!" Tenko's eyes were then filled with tears of joy.

                 "Tenko, you're such a crybaby... But you're right, I changed a lot and it was because of him... Thanks for everything, Tenko. For being so patient with me." Himiko smiled and Tenko smiled back.

                  A few hours later, the girls were done dressing up and separated ways. Himiko then quickly made her way to the shrine. "Geez, why do girls take so long to get ready?" Kokichi teased she saw Himiko's red hair.

                  The moment Himiko got on top of the hill, Kokichi's face flushed red. Himiko had a candy red Yukata decorated with orangey-pink sakura petals. Matching with the petals was the sakura-coloured obi. Himiko's bangs were tied in a braid and was clipped onto the right side with her hairpin and she wore Geta. K-Kokichi! You... The Yukata really fits you!" Himiko blushed as she complimented.

             Kokichi wore a royal purple Yukata decorated with white stripes and silhouette sakura. Kokichi wore a black obi and wore Geta too. "T-thanks... Um..." Kokichi stuttered.

             "Hehe, did I prick your heart with my cuteness?" Himiko teased which made Kokichi more bashful.

             "S-shut up... Anyways, let's get going! I've never been to a festival before..." Kokichi changed the subject.

              "Me too! I've always seen shows on television about this and I've always wanted to see one for myself..." Himiko nodded as they walked through the crowd.

              "The atmosphere is so... fiery... Well, I don't really know how to put it other than that way but the Taiko drums are so cool!" Kokichi cheered.
