Drizzling teardrops of the sky fell, landing softly on every surface that was present outside— the cool wind blew as the scent of the refreshing rain wafted into ones senses.
[ name ] held her umbrella tightly as she walked along the busy streets. Her heels clacked against the wet pavement, she kept her face forward, evading the people passing by as well. Her face was sullen, eyes were dull as tear stains were eminent on her face as she bit the bottom of her lip trying to hold back her incoming tears— she kept on walking and walking to god knows where.
But she came to a halt when she felt a large, soft, gloved hand taking a hold of her thin wrist. The warmth of the touch was indeed familiar, a touch that she longed, a touch that helped her calm down during the times when she needed it, a touch that she loved the most.
She took a deep inhale and chewed the bottom of her lip as she scrunched up her face, holding back the tears that were threatening to spill any moment— her heart raced as wave of immense emotions washed her chest. She wanted to scream, she wanted to cry... The pain that swelled on her chest is just too much for her to carry.
" [ name ]..." his voice that used to be joyful was now sad and pained. "Please look at me— I can explain." He pleaded.
He didn't sound so convincing— for [ name ], he sounded like he wasn't even putting much effort to ask her to stay, wanting to explain what happened. But she knew this was bound to happen yet— why did she even stay? Why did she loved the goddamned be so much?!
"No." her voice came out hoarse, she didn't want to see him or talk to him— she wanted him out of sight yet... "There's no need to explain things... I'm... done."
"No no [ name ], babe please—"
"DON'T YOU DARE CALL ME BABE, JOLLIBEE!"
Anger— yes, anger laced on her tone. Her heart raced even more, she heaved in and out and finally turned, facing the man that she loved the most— but now, that was all in the past. Her face slowly turned light red, eyes burned in rage and pain as she stared at his beautiful large ones. His smile that was always present was now gone and replaced with a frown.
Jollibee, [ name ]'s lover for 10 years— ever since she met the red bee, she couldn't help it but to fall for his adorable charms, and his beautiful smile. The sudden attraction towards the bee made the woman swoon over him— his cheerful voice, the way he dances to entertain children was just so heartwarming. Jollibee was her first love. She didn't even expect that he'd notice her and her frequent visits on his fast food chain where she tries to linger for more than an hour just to bask on his beauty. And the moment he spoke, she fell even harder.
For 10 years, she was helplessly in love with the bee, dedicating all of her time and love towards him, giving him everything to make him feel satisfied. And the bee, loved her back as well, returning those feelings and dedication as well.
Those years, she haven't been to other fast food chain other than Jollibee, she remained loyal to her one and only— yet, wasn't that enough for him? After what she did, after those efforts she made? Was it all for nothing then?
Coming home to their shared house, arriving to the sounds of sexual moans coming from the living room, only to see Jollibee and Ronald Mcdonalds together— her heart instantly shattered into million pieces.
"THERE'S NOTHING THAT YOU NEED TO EXPLAIN JOLLIBEE." Her chest heaved in and out as she felt rage surging. "I SAW EVERYTHING!" tears spilled from her [ eye colors ] orbs , her shoulder began t shake as she pulled her arm away from the bee and covered her tear stricken face. She couldn't hold it back, she was just so hurt and betrayed— it was too much to bear, the pain, the anger it was just too much.
"After everything I did just to make you feel so loved and satisfied..." she croaked. "I GAVE EVERYTHING TO YOU, and yet— why... was I not enough for you? Was I not satisfying you? Am I really that enough?" she looked at Jollibee, looking so broken. "What am I to you?"
"[ name ] please I—"
"ANSWER ME!"
"..." but he remained silent. he couldn't utter a single word.
" I guess those 10 years of being together is nothing for you then? Those 10 years that I've cherished so much, those years that we spent together, the promises that we made, the dreams that we carved to achieve it— I guess those were nothing then?" she took a deep breath, trying to keep composure as tears kept on flowing.
"NO!" he answered back. "No..."
"Then why— why did you do it then?"
"..."
"No answer huh?" she scoffed and wiped her tears away with her sleeve. "Then that means that those 10 damn years were nothing— now that's that, we're done— I don't want to see you again, nor want to hear anything. We're done, that's it, no more, I don't want to suffer, I don't want to be hurt— if you really did loved me, then you wouldn't have done that. If you really did love me, then you could've even answer while looking at me straight in the eyes." And with that, she just left the bee alone soaking underneath the rain that became to drizzle harder.
