Chapter 26: Brielle's Dream

"Brother Brielle! Brother Brielle! Can I borrow your toys?" little Ivana keeps bothering Brielle who is busy doing something on his computer.

"No! Not unless you bring me a glass of juice here!" he answered quickly without looking at the little child who's standing near him.

Ivana's little face smiled. "Okay, after I bring your juice can I have your toys?"

Hindi na umimik ang pilyong si Brielle. Gusto lamang nyang asarin si Ivana. Maaga itong hinatid ng Daddy nya sa bahay nila. Nakita pa ni Brielle na nag-uusap ng seryoso ang Daddy ni Ivana at Daddy Brent nya sa garden area ng bahay nila. Napapansin nyang seryoso ang usapan ng dalawa dahil ang anyo ng Daddy Brent nya ay nakakunot ang noo at tila may sinasabi itong nakakapagbago ng anyo rin ng ama ni Ivana.

Bumalik sya sa kwarto nya at sumunod si Ivana. Hindi nya pinapansin ang pangungulit nito na makipag-laro sa kanya. Sa halip na kausapin si Ivana umupo sya sa harapan ng computer nya habang binalikan ang software virus na ginagawa nya. He indeed inherited Brent's intelligence. At the age of 8 years old he able to develop a software virus that could invade high secured program. Gusto nyang tapusin ito at ipakita sa Daddy nya. Nagkataon na laging sumusunod sa kanya si Ivana ngunit sadyang makulit ito at kahit asarin nya ng husto hindi ito umaalis sa tabi nya.

Ilang minuto lang bumalik na ito at bitbit ang baso na may lamang juice. She smiled sweetly and called Brielle's attention.

"Brother Brielle, here is your juice!"

"Thanks!" mabilis nyang kinuha ang juice at ininom.

Hinihintay ni Ivana ang sasabihin nya ngunit bumalik sya ulit sa ginagawa nya. Hindi na makatiis si Ivana at nilapitan sya. Hinila nito ang kamay nya.

"Brother Brielle, can I have your toys now?"

"No! Not unless you learn to speak Tagalog! Go back to your house, ask your Nanny to teach you Tagalog, otherwise, I will not let you play my toys and I will not talk to you anymore!" nang-aasar nyang tugon dito.

Biglang namula ang mata ng paslit na si Ivana. Bigla itong umiyak ng malakas at walang tigil. "You're bad. You keep bullying me! You are lying to me!"

"Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! I lied to you because your naive. Okay, you go back to your home, do what I've told you!

Bago pa sya makapagsalita ulit mabilis na itong tumakbo palabas ng kwarto nya at umuwi. Sunud-sunod ang patak ng luha ni Ivana. She knew Brielle keep bullying her but she still keeps coming to him because he had promised to marry her.

Pagpasok ni Ivana ng pinto ng bahay nila nadatnan nya ang Yaya nya na naglilinis.

"Oh, why my little princess crying?" Yaya Cathy asked.

"Yaya, Brielle bullied me again. He said if I don't learn to speak Tagalog he will not talk to me anymore!" tears streaming down in her small face.

"Don't worry, I will teach you later on once I'm done all the chores. You go back to your room now. Take a bath and change your clothes. I know you can do it alone!" Yaya Cathy said.

"Okay!" umakyat ng diretso si Ivana sa kwarto nya at naligo.

Weeks passed by she forced herself to learn Tagalog with the help of her Yaya Cathy. Ngunit hindi muna sya pumunta sa bahay ng mga Santillian. Hindi na rin sya dinala ng Daddy nya doon at abala rin ito sa negosyo. Lumipas ang halos tatlong linggo hindi na bumalik si Ivana sa mansyon ng mga Santillian at ng araw ding iyon biglang sinabi ng Daddy nya na babalik na sila ng Beijing. Naguguluhan ang munting puso nya dahil sa biglaan nitong desisyon.

"Dad, can I go to Brielle first, before we leave here. I wanted to bid farewell to them!" little Ivana said.

"Princess, I'm afraid we don't have time for that. Our flight will be two hours from now. We will come back here in Singapore again if Daddy could settle down the business problem!" turan ni Reynold Huo. Ngunit wala na syang balak na bumalik pa ng Singapore at makipag-usap muli sa mga Santillian. He asked Brent's financial help to finance his New Develop Digital Project. He almost begged Brent Santillian to finance it and even offered a huge percentage of profit share but suddenly Brent Santillian declined his proposal and even accused him that he is not the developer of the said project. Someone had stolen his files and launched it in Beijing. Reynold Huo accepted his failure and blame Brent Santillian for being a wise capitalist.
