Sam sighed thinking about him. Nic. He felt a blush rise to his face as he thought about him, his greasy black hair, his handsome smile, his charming personality...
He was interrupted by someone tapping on his shoulder. It was just Sascha, probably wanting him to do the dishes or something stupid like that. She batted her eyelashes at him and he had to keep from groaning.
Sam had been living with his old penpal, Sascha, and her sister, Anna, in Germany for a few months now. He knew that Sascha liked him, but for some reason he hated it. He wasn't sure why, but whenever he tried to flirt or be sweet with Sascha an image of Nic came to mind, and it was a complete turn off. Therefore, he never really wanted to have a "thing" with Sascha, or any other girl for that matter.
All that made sense right now was Nic, and for some reason that filled him with joy but also sadness.
He stood and did what Sascha had asked, she'd just wanted him to vacuum and being the polite man he was, he quickly obliged. He boredly vacuumed and didn't even notice Nic coming in. When he finally noticed he'd finished vacuuming and was returning it to it's place in the closet.
That's when he saw Nic, sitting on the couch in a relaxed way and talking with Anna. Sam felt his cheeks get hot when he saw him sitting there, a bit of stubble on his chin and his sunglasses tilted down so he could see. Then Sam felt another emotion; jealousy. He didn't realise why at first, but then, shocking himself, found that he was jealous of Anna, sitting close to him and talking happily. Sam scowled slightly but quickly stopped, realizing what this insane feeling for Nic was doing to him. It was making him turn on his friend!
So he calmed himself and sat on the couch too, waving at Nic. Nic smiled and waved back, and though he may have dreamed it, Nic was also blushing softly.
Huh.. Sam thought to himself, maybe this whole love thing won't be so bad!
