Bertholdt looked surprised at the fact that I kissed him. Of course this isn't the first time we kissed but I guess he just wasn't expecting that I do it first.
The kiss grew deeper until I broke it.
"What is it?"
"Where did Reiner go?"
"I honestly have no idea but I know he's somewhere around the area."
"I-is he going to kill me?"
"I don't know but I highly doubt it. If we did then of course there will be suspicions and that is something we can't afford right now."
My stomach ended up growling which was strange cause I had eaten in the morning.
"Hungry?"
I nod.
"Here, come with me." He said as he took my hand and lead me to what was a food storage where there was some bread.
"How did you know this was here?"
"Me and Reiner have been here a few times on our days off."
Without saying anything else I started eating the bread and and left half cause this time I got full.
"You look tired."
"Sorry it's just...this mission...we really don't get that much rest."
"Bertholdt you need to rest. There's got to be somewhere where you can rest. Let's check out a room." I say as I got up and head to the other rooms.
"Y/N wait." He says as he follows behind.
When we came to a room there was a bed and drawer with a broken frame of what seem to be a drawing?
"Look at that Bert. Someone must be so skilled at drawing!"
"That's not a drawing. It's called a photo. It's made by gathering light and it being reflected off the subject and then burning it into an image on special paper."
"Wow. I wish we had that. It be nice."
"Y/N come with us."
"Huh?"
"To my hometown in Marley."
"But.."
"Look, yes we have a mission, yes that would mean you'd have to betray your friends, your comrades-"
"I can't do that. Sasha, Connie, and Jean are like my second family and I have a duty as a soilder-"
"You can have all of that with me."
"I don't know...I'm scared." I say as I looked down.
He lifts my chin up a bit and connects his lips with mine.
Our kiss grew deeper then he breaks it eyeing me carefully and steps a bit closer to me. I thought he would kiss me again but he actually kissed my neck and I could feel his breath on me.
He looks at me again and kisses me again.
"Y/N-"
I don't let him finish as I reconnect our lips again.
I knew what we both wanted but he wanted to make sure I wanted it to.
"You sure?"
"Yeah. I am a bit nervous but...will...sooner or later everyone is gonna find out about you and Reiner and I...I don't want..."
He kisses me once more and lifts me up as I wrap my legs around him and carefully places me on the bed.
He watches me carefully as he starts to slowly starts to unbutton my shirt. When I gave him the okay he then starts to unbutton it fast and I remove his shirt while he proceeds to remove my bra and I cover my breast.
"If you don't want to we don't have to Y/N."
"No I do it's just..like I said..nervous."
"Well let me know when you want me to stop."
He started kissing my breast and then my stomach making me grunt softly.
He then goes on and slowly unbuttons my pants and slowly removes my panties.
He starts to remove his pants and underwear and I felt scared at the moment but I didn't want to throw it away.
Without any warning he entered me and gasped at how painful it all was and held myself onto him.
"Don't worry, I'll be gentle."
He did start off gentle but it still didn't change the fact that it hurt.
Then pleasure took over him as he accelerated in thrusts and I became a mess.
Not long after him did I reach my climax and he exits out of me both of us catching our breath.
"Sorry, I shouldn't have-
"Bert you don't need to apologize. As a matter of fact why are you apologizing to me? We both wanted it."
He pulled me close and the next thing I knew is we fell asleep.
When I woke up it was already dark. Who knew what time it was but I put my clothes on.
"Y/N?"
"I don't know why up until now am I asking but...how long is Reiner gonna be gone?"
"Who knows, he never does take long coming back but when he does take long it means something came up."
"Oh."
There was a few moments of silence between us until I broke it.
"I've been thinking..."
"About?"
"I...I want you to promise me something."
"Yes?"
"If I go with you...if I leave these walls and go to your hometown Marley...I want you to answer everything I ask."
I hear him get up and put on his clothes and then walked on over to me.
"I promise not only that but to also shiw you new things like how a photo is taken" He said as he held my hand and kissed it.
"Well then what are we waiting for? Let's go find Reiner...my warrior."
I knew I just signed my death sentence but like Bertholdt said, it's the heart whk decides who you love and I love him and I never wanted to let him go.

(I hope you guys enjoyed it! Anybody else who reads the manga like at first didn't know how to feel about Reiner and Bertholdt and then reading that Bert died you didn't feel nothing but then knowing the truth crushed you? And then seeing him die in the anime made you cry? Cause that was me, I cried seeing him die in the anime😢
