Punishment

"I. Don't. Know. Anything" I say in between exasperated breaths from having my head dunked into water every 20 seconds.

"you see I don't believe you, I think you know exactly where it is but your just not telling me" The sociopath of a woman I've decided to name Lilith since that was the name of the first female demon, and she seems pretty close to that.

"I know fuck all alright, my parents never told me anything," I say getting tired of this torture routine.

"Looks like we haven't broken you yet, maybe we'll have another go tomorrow. Wrap it up boys" she says clicking her fingers at her servant men and walking out the room.

The two loyal servants decide to have one last go and kick me in the ribs leaving me hunched over and in pain. They then drag me out the room, I don't have any energy left to walk so I let me feet trail across the floor as I'm carried by my arms, each movement causing more pain to the many injuries I've sustained over the last hour or so.

I'm taken down a different corridor I don't recognise and throw into a room much bigger than the last. I keep my eyes closed from the pain wanting to fall asleep so bad

"patch her up," The guards say as medical supplies are thrown at me, the door shuts behind and people instantly start rushing over to me.

"Skye, I need you to keep your eyes open for me" I hear a voice say, I recognize it to be Ash's

"tired" I mumble out.

"We need to move her onto the bed, now," She says as I feel multiple hands in my body hoisting me up off the floor.

"Aghh" I scream out in pain as they move me

"I know, I know, I'm so sorry," Ash says as I'm finally lowered onto something soft.

"Take her clothes off, I need to know what I'm dealing with," Ash says, at this point, I manage to open my eyes and have a better look around the room. Ash, Carli, Christen and Alex are all crowded around me while all the other girls from table 78 watch closely a few steps away.

"Hey you, can you tell me where hurts" Carli says grabbing onto my hand as my clothes are removed from my body.

"Where. Doesn't," I say through gritted teeth.

Ash leans over my face covering my eye with her hand and then removing it again and again. I don't really understand what she's doing right now

"Okay you don't have a concussion which is great," Ash says, a few girls let out a sigh of relief.

"Yayy," I say sarcastically since I can still feel pain all over my body.

"You do have a dislocated shoulder though so I'm going to need to pop it back into place, this is going to hurt Skye." Ash says looking down at me apologetically. I grab ahold of Carli's hand while she puts a piece of cloth in my mouth.

"You ready?" Ash asks me one last time, I nod my head rapidly wanting to get this over and done with as quickly as possible.

"3, 2, 1" Ash counts down and on the last number pulls my arm back making me let out a long scream that's somewhat muffled by the fabric in my mouth, however, the pain becomes too much and I feel my eyes closing into blackness.

"she's fine, she just passed out from the pain, probably a good thing to be honest" I hear Ash say over me, I scrunch up my eyes finding her voice to be too loud

"Can you shut up, you're too loud" I mumble out.

"Welcome back to the land of the living, have a good nap," Ash says sarcastically.

"Just splendid darling" I reply exaggerating my British accent. I decide it's probably a good time to open my eyes.

"well you took quite the beating out there, not sure what happened when they took you away," Ash says making my mind flashback to what Lilith had those men do to me.

"I don't want to talk about it," I say not wanting to think about it any longer than I have to.

"it could help to tell someone" Ash says trying to persuade me.

"I said I don't want to talk about it, end of" I say shouting a little louder this time gaining the attention of the people around.

"Okay I'm sorry for pushing you," Ash says apologetically.

"No your just trying to help, sorry for snapping" I apologise knowing it's not her fault.

"now can someone fill me in on what I've missed please." I ask wanting to know what exactly happened once I left.

"When you got dragged out everyone started cheering really loudly clearly happy that you beat up all those guards, but more came in after that and everyone soon shut up. You should have seen how beat up some of those guards were you really gave them a run for their money." Carli explains grinning at me, I just smile happy those bastards got what they deserved.

"They then gave us all some food which was surprisingly nice for a prison-like place, oh that reminds me we all snuck some back for you," Carli says going to a bed and removing a blanket to reveal a shit ton of food.

"We thought you would need quite a bit to help you mend," She says, I slide off the bed trying to not cause any more pain and hobble over to the food.

"Anyways after we finished eating they took everyone back, we thought we would get separated again but they brought us all to this room." Carli explains gesturing to the one we are in now.

" It's nicer than the house I live in the back home," Ash says chuckling lightly.

It's a pretty big room actually, has 6 triple bunk beds and 2 double ones scattered across the room, all with pillows and blankets over them. There are fresh clothes on each of the bed too.

"This all seems too nice for a prison" I mumble to myself as I continue to eat the bread. 

"Are you okay Skye?" Mal asks timidly.

"Mally, come over here," I say smiling at the youngster, trying to keep a happy face for the girl that looks incredible scared.

"they look like they really hurt you, Skye, they were beating you up and there was blood everywhere" Mal starts to explain getting a quite emotional as she does so.

"Hey, hey, look at me Mal, I may have a few cuts and bruises but I'm okay aren't I?" I say trying to keep the girl calm

"I guess, I'm just scared, what if they do that to me, I can't defend myself like you can" Mal explains

"I'm not going to let them get anywhere near you, okay. I'll always be there to protect you" I say wanting to keep my promise to her.

"Christen, Ash, Carli and Alex, can I speak to you guys for a second" I say they all look at me a little funny but follow me across the room nether the less.

"when they took me I did figure out why we are all here" I whisper not wanting any of the younger ones to hear me.

"Hold on can I get Tobin and Hope over here, I trust those guys" Carli says, I nod my head so she calls them both over.

"what's this about," Hope asks once she's joined the circle

"Skye thinks she's figured out why we are here" Carli explain to the two.

"when they were 'having a little fun' with me earlier that woman, who I've named Lilith by the way, kept on asking me where the key was," I say to them all.

"The key, what key?" Christen asks confused.

"I don't know! She just kept on saying 'you know where the key is, tell me' and I was like no bitch I don't leave me the fuck alone" I say making some of the girls laugh a little.

"So you think that this 'key' is what connects us all?" Tobin asks me.

"That's exactly what I think, we just need to figure out what this 'key' is and hopefully use it to get us out if this situation," I say, everyone nods their heads in agreement, all of us wanting to solve this as quickly as we can.
