A year. One whole year since Eternatus killed himself and parts of Hell was flattened by his corpse. One whole year since an adventure in a new world of gods. And one year since Angel stopped working for Valentino and started dating Vaggie. Angel had stopped calling Valentino and deleted his phone number. As Angel sat there, he twirled a small box in his hands. It was a gift for Vaggie when she got there. Then, he heard the opening of the restaurant door. Looking over, he could see Vaggie walking in with eyes of nearby sinners looking at her.

Angel raised his hand up to so that Vaggie could find him. When she sat, they started talking.
Vaggie: When Charlie said she had a dress for today, I didn't picture it as this.
Angel: Well, she does have good tastes.
Vaggie: Why did you even bring me out here? Normally we just watch a movie or read at Aracknodo's library.
Angel: I just thought we'd do something special, since it has been our one year anniversary since we started dating.
Vaggie sighed and looked over the buildings. "Where did you even get the money to buy all this? The last time I checked, you started helping around the library." Angel chuckled as he looked up smirk-like. "Well, he actually does give some pay, even if it's not as much as when I work for mister heart bitch." Vaggie quietly laughed as she smiled. Even after the literal hell they went through, she was the same person that he had fallen in love with so long ago. Soon, they were ready head home. Angel was getting more and more anxious. He didn't wanna lose his chance, but not here. He didn't want it be wide spread. So, he decided the hotel.
"How's your night going, you two?" Charlie had a few papers in one of her hands and a pen in the other. "Just here to get my stuff." Charlie nodded and went behind the desk. She then pulled out Vaggie's purse and then her ice tipped spear. Finally, Angel spoke. "Vaggie, you know we have been dating for a while, yes?" Vaggie nodded while putting her bag around her shoulder. Angel sighed and looked at her. "I know i'm not the best boyfriend you can ask for, but I want to make us happy. So...," Angel got on one knee, everyone stopping what they were doing, even Husk drinking. Vaggie put her hands on her mouth. Angel pulled out the small box and opened it. Inside was a ring.

"Vaggie, will you make me the happiest spider in this hellhole?" Everyone was silent, waiting for an answer. Tears started to drip down Vaggie's eyes as she smiled. "YES!" Vaggie ran towards Angel and tackled him, both of them crying and laughing at the same time. Everyone started cheering for the two now soon to be wedded couple. Outside, a creature turned around and left.
The creature walked towards a limo a few blocks away and went inside. Inside sat Valentino, one of the overlords of hell and once boss of Angel. "So, tell me, where is Angel Cakes?" The creature spoke, scaring the two female sinners by Valentino's side. Its voice was distorted, as if it wasn't there at all. "They're at the hotel." Valentino leaned forward a little. "And that x eyed bitch?" "Soon to be wedded with him." Valentino smiled showing his golden tooth in interest. Ever since that 'thing' died, Angel haven't come to work or called. Now he knows why. "About our pay." "You'll get it once I have Angie Cakes and his little one eye lover. Then you can have it." At this the creature disappeared, leaving only Valentino, smiling.
