It was raining outside. I kept twisting and turning in my bed, trying to find a position to fall asleep in. Yet, nothing worked. I looked to my side and saw the clock reading: 1:27 AM. I somehow didn't grow sleepy at all, so I turned on my lamp. I sat up on the edge of my bed and stared at the floor for a bit. I knocked myself back into the real world and stood up. As I put on my slippers, I got an idea. I grabbed a brush and fixed my hair a bit, just to look less messy. I tossed it only my bed and snatched my keys from the desk, and went out of the room, locking it.
I, as quietly as possible, walked through the halls of the hotel. It was silent. I looked at the bottom of the door to see if there were any lights on. Barely. I continued walking and looking at the room numbers; 204, 207... 209. I looked down. Yep, there was some light. I then gently placed my ear against the door, hearing a quiet turning of pages. My hand raised to gently knock on the door. A few seconds later, before I knocked again, the door finally opened.
"Mags? You're having a sleepless night as well?" Kakyoin looked as messy as I was and was also wearing his pyjamas. I glanced behind him and saw Jotaro sleeping on the bed aside Kakyoin's.
"Yes, unfortunately," I whispered and sighed in relief.
-time skip where Magnolia and Kakyoin ended up chatting in the balcony-
"Do you think Jotaro has fallen for someone before?" I blurted out without warning. Jeez, what's up with me?
Kakyoin scoffed, "It's a rare occurrence. If he were to fall for someone, he'd be very good at hiding it." Silence.
"...Though, when he's around you, he seems more comfortable and closer to you..." I froze and stared at Kakyoin.
"R-Really?" My face heated up a bit at the comment. He was actually right, though. He's really quiet around other people and barely gets along with girls... But I'm probably one of the only ones he could talk to?
"Mm-hm. He's even asked about you when you were hurt." I stood up and was about to leave, but then my sleeve was caught by Kakyoin's hand,
"You like him, don't you, Mags?" God, that damn smirk. I nervously chuckled in response. I slightly nodded before heading to the room's door. I waved at Kakyoin and he waved back. I looked at Jotaro and smiled, he looked so relaxed and adorable as he slept. I gently closed the door and headed my way back to my room.
